August 2024 Update

Hello to you my hunks and hotties!

(TLDR: All is well and continuing as normal.)

I hope August has treated you well. For me it has been a very pleasant one filled with sunny blue skies and breathtaking starry nights. It does my soul no end of good getting back to nature whenever I can. That said, after a busy and chaotic summer, I am looking forward to settling back into my regular routine again and really delving back into my writing with fewer distractions.

There's been a lot of movement these past couple of weeks as (I assume) readers of SG2 are moving on and those of EN are moving in. To those on the way out, I dearly hope that you enjoyed your stay and you are welcome back at any time. ❤ To those just settling in I say welcome and please make yourselves at home. ❤ And to the rest of you, you make this a better place each and every day. ❤

Okay, enough mushy stuff. Update time.

A Simple Life has slowed over the summer months but I think there are plenty of slices left in that slice of life tale to keep it going strong, especially now that I can take some time to reconnect with it again. Empty Nest seems to have found an audience and I am as pleased as I could be to keep it rolling as our second serial. Kinky Contract has been fun and different. Hopefully I'll be wrapping that short up sometime in September and moving on to the next. And speaking of shorts, ugh. This month's Plus Short Neighborly fell short of what I was hoping it would be. I just couldn't seem to get a good 'flow' going with that story due to various factors. It heartens me to know that some of you enjoyed it though, and hopefully this month's mid-month short will be better. On that, the Plus Poll choosing the next mid-month short ought to be up on the 1st as usual.

For those of you who buy my ebooks I ought to be putting a few more out next month on Kindle, Smashwords, etc. 30 Days is 80 percent ready and I've got a few others I'm hoping to do as well.

And I think that's about it for now. I appreciate each and every one of you. I say this often but it's never not true, you inspire me daily. Thank you! And an extra special thank you to my extra special Good One.

P.S.: Just as I was about to post this my PC randomly restarted with no warning whatsoever. Weird! Never had that happen before. Everything seems fine now. Thank goodness for drafts or I would have had to rewrite this. I'll have to look into what's going on. Fingers crossed that it's nothing major and it doesn't effect my writing time.
