Oct 2024 Update (Nov Billing Pause)

(TLDR: I am pausing billing for one month starting the 31st but will continue writing. Free month!)
I am writing the month end update a bit early this month just to give a heads up that I am pausing billing starting on the 31st. So for the 30 days following (basically all of November) you won't be billed for your membership and neither can anybody join or change tiers (I believe).
Because of this I am going to release the initial Reader Plus mid-month short poll early just in case anybody wanted a chance to shift tiers so that they could vote in it. I'll put it up right after posting this and leave it active until the 2nd.
The billing pause comes at a good time for me as I am in a FUNK. And I'm not talking about the cool kind of funk. It started with a physical funk when I got sick at the start of the month, which I am only now really starting to feel better from, but unfortunately it's spread into a mental one. Based on the stats it is bleeding through into the work too as everything seems to be falling off this month. It's happened before, it'll happen again. This too shall pass.
As usual during these pauses the stories carry on. Not writing SUCKS and I have no intention of doing that, though I may stray and do a bit of fun free writing. We'll see. I'm hoping I can work through the funk and come out the other side by December.
Despite what I've said above this month was actually quite an interesting one for me. A Simple Life continues to flow and has had some nice moments, Empty Nest has been a bit of a struggle to get a grip on but I am loving the soft scenes between Elliot and Heather, and A Prince's Duty has been a really interesting challenge and I always look forward to where you all are going to take the next chapter. Satisfaction Delivered did not go over well but I quite enjoyed writing it. As it was my self-indulgent 'comfort writing' for when I was ill I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The midmonth Plus short Winner Takes All was admitted a bit of a stinker. Sorry about that. I'm starting to think I'm not actually well suited for cuckold fiction, though Chloe and I enjoy it so I'll never give up on it completely. And finally, I really enjoyed being able to release Heavenly Body to the Reader tier. I had so much fun with that couple last month.
Going forward it's pretty much as normal. ASL, EN, an occasional APD, and the mid-month short.

But I must admit that gradually you have progressed towards softer and softer stuff, to the point where you don't seem to be able to 'make sense' of traditional hardcore cuck in the way you used to. The character's motivations seem alien, and therefore you feel like you can barely touch them. Though maybe I'm projecting too much into what I'm seeing. Regardless of explanation, I don't think this is a bad thing for two reasons. One is that actual played straight hardcore cuck is in a way, spiritually poisonous. Even beyond what some may argue all porn is. This is because ostensibly it seems to be a story about love losing. To a person who writes idealistic romantic fiction, this can feel anathema. And to the reader, could be argued as an unhealthy fixation. (Though it's one I have) Two, is that the common ways of remedying this and preventing it from being a story about selfish, sadists, psychologically bullying an innocent and sadly sexually stunted sap, are so limited they've almost all become tropes and put the story on rails. So either it's 'a sad story about love losing to lust and shattering an innocent man', and can only continue with both new lovers being sadists. Or it's, 'guy cheats then gets cheated on', with further sessions of rubbing it in becoming increasingly nonsensical without serious chicanery, or him just coming to fetishize it and them forgiving him enough to allow him to be a voyeur/participant. The solution to this problem is netorase. And you seem to have started to explore that with nonfuta stories a bit, just not as much with futa stories. So I think you are more than capable of making more 'romance friendly' futacuck moving forward. If again, I'm not just projecting something on you here and that is actually what's snagging you. Just to get you back in the swing, I'd recommend reading the Fiona cuck scenes you wrote in the Bailey Story. Which, though harsh, are technically netorase as Jesse and Allison agreed to the three way in advance. (Though Fiona arranged this pretty adeptly) As this gives a great example of how and why even the harsher stuff can be so hot. With the added benefit of past you writing it, hopefully it should reawaken something. And for softer, longer form netorase stuff; I'd highly recommend 'Between Us Three' on chyoa. It's absolutely a love wins, character and relationship focused work. This despite it being about a consensual cuckolding relationship involving a femboy's girlfriend getting railed by a massive athletic tomboy's futacock.
