Update Dec 2024: Year in Review
Added 2024-12-30 15:55:59 +0000 UTCGood tidings to you all!
This update's going to be a long one so I'll give the usual TL;DR right off the top. All is well, we carry on.
For the rest of you, hello! I hope you all had a merry season and that you have a fun New Year celebration. And for those with resolutions beginning on Wednesday, as I do, I wish you luck! 2024 has been one of ups and downs for me, though I am pleased to report the former outnumbered the latter. That's one for the win column! π As usual since I began, writing for y'all has been one of the greatest joys for me and I am so very thankful that I am able to do so and I hope to continue doing so for years to come. In the spirit of reflecting on the year just passed and casting an eye to the one to come I thought I'd reminisce a bit in this update before looking forward.
For me the most significant moment of the year was bringing Slave Girl 2 to an end. While it didn't have the simple magic of SG1 for me I nevertheless enjoyed it greatly as it took Quin and Rosa in directions I never expected and introduced Cassie into the mix. It was a bit messy and definitely long-winded (what else is new with me) but I think it's got a charm of its own. I miss those characters daily and I do hope to return to them this year for the final story of the trilogy.
Near the beginning of 2024 I started publishing EBooks on Kindle, Smashwords and other sites. While I am in no risk of hitting any bestseller list anytime soon (or even top 1000 list lol) it is cool to have my stuff out there and I hope to have a bunch more out in the coming months.
A Simple Life. I don't even know what to say to say about it at this point. It's so humble, so simple, so aimless, yet it exceeds every expectation I ever had for it. We started the year at chapter 104 and here we are now closing in on 200. 200! Sometimes I really do feel like I could write it for the rest of my life. Avery doesn't feel like a character to me but a gift from the Muses. And Winona is such good fun. That said, I can feel the winds abating behind ASL's sails and I suspect that 2025 will see that tale sailing off into the sunset, though it will be really, really hard to let them go.
Empty Nest! What a pleasant surprise. Yet what a frustrating challenge! What started as a focused short has shifted into a goddamn mess of a serial. LOL I am enjoying the hell out of it but since the shift it has been slipperier than an eel in olive oil as I try to hone in on exactly what kind of story it is. (Spoiler: I THINK I've finally come down on leaning into the harem elements as the build up seems to be pointing that way and I think a lot of readers would feel pretty ripped off if I dangled it then pulled it away. Though I know I often regret it when I try to shift things away from monogamy. And you guys were no damn help with that 50-50 poll! LOL ) All I can say is, stay tuned.
30 Days was definitely one of my favorite things I've written this year and in my opinion it is easily the best cuckold/hotwife story I've penned. I loved the set up, the tension, but most of all I loved the characters. The sequels Beach Body, Satisfaction Delivered, and the current Queen/Quean for a Day have expanded and deepened the original. Though not everybody's cup of tea I've enjoyed watching their evolution. And finally, I can't pass by without at least mentioning the ill-fated Kinky Contract. Though disheartening it was a valuable reminder of just how close to the sun I fly on this site.
The two attempted CYOA's Morgan and A Prince's Duty were definitely the flops of the year. While fun to try I don't think I'll be doing them again anytime soon. For whatever reason I just couldn't keep Chloe inspired on those ones. With that said I've been LOVING the monthly Plus polls that help to craft the midmonth shorts along with the occasional Reader polls. Y'all always keep me on on my toes. π
Speaking of Shorts, we've had a bunch this year! The Man Flus 4-6, Thorns, Accidental Orc, A Dream Come True, Neighborly, Heavenly Body, Winner Takes All, A Birthday Wish, and To Boldly Cum... were all from this year! Some were flat out stinkers but some you seemed to like. Except for Neighborly which proved quite a challenge I really had a blast writing these for you. Thank you all for plodding through the stinky to get to the sweet. These shorts are always a good reminder of what I consider my biggest weakness as a writer, which is that I have NO FUCKING IDEA what's good and bad. LOL Why did folks like A Dream Come True and not A Birthday Wish? No clue! π€·ββοΈ I have many blind spots but figuring out what y'all like and don't like is by far my most glaring. On the bright side though, since I can't chase popularity I tend to stay true to Chloe which is crucial to maintaining momentum so it is definitely not all bad. I may never make a true living off of my writing but as long as I'm having fun and most of you guys are having a good time too I'll consider myself a success.
Looking forward: the Patreon continues as usual. I'm going to try to take some time to look again at Subscribestar to see if I want to have it as a backup as KC was a reminder that this could all go away at a moment's notice. I will be publishing more books likely sooner rather than later. And after February, which will mark the one year anniversary of the midmonth Plus shorts, I may reflect on whether we should keep the current system or switch it up and try something else instead. Right now I'm leaning toward keeping it as is but we shall see. Speaking of that, you Plus pals can expect the next poll on Jan 1st as normal.
Whew! What a year. Okay, that's enough blah, blah, blah from me. As always I treasure you being here and I thank you for supporting this crazy keyboard clicker. A super big end of year THANKS to my loyal Good One, you continue to humble me. And with all my heart I hope that each and every one of you has the best 2025 imaginable! The future is right there for us to seize! Let's go get it!
Love to all. Stay kind, kinky and curious. And HAPPY NEW YEAR! β€

Personally I liked A Dream Come True because it had a really novel dynamic, fun eccentric larger than life characters, and it was huge cock futadom. Though I can't go back to read it right now because of the new tier system, if I remember correctly the guy is essentially a coolheaded stoic who's a bit antisocial despite looking like a hot Nordic supermodel. And the girl is like a saccharine bubbly in your face type, who has now developed some 'annoying' behaviors from reading too many self help books. But his whole persona melts in an instant because he's a closeted futa fetishist and she's legendarily packing. And all the hot air she was pumped full of transforms immediately into her being an ideal dom in the moment. She has been told she needs to 'put herself out there and feel dominant, powerful, and assertive.' and now she has her work crush she's been quietly resenting/pining-over on his knees begging for her cock. Good stuff ensues. So she goes from annoying to ideal. And he goes from cool to pathetically cock begging (also ideal). There's also this tension of her not understanding the guys asocialness and him being terrified he's going to lose her after this. That this magic romance he's been waiting for his whole life is going to melt away after a single moment. And since she tells him not to speak after a certain point, all he can do is suck her cock as best he can. So it's pretty complex with both funny and dramatic character transformations that all orbit around the sex act. And even the sex itself has massive stakes, with one person's self respect and the other's future happiness hanging in the balance. In comparison, A Birthday Wish seems just like a Hallmark standard love story. They are childhood friends with a crush. They reveal it and bang. It has the weight of them having a history together and their love being discouraged. But the sex doesn't depend on it, it's sort of secondary to the romantic reveal. "Since the big reveal of eachother's feelings, I guess we might as well also bang." It's not a bad story by any means, but it's unfortunately mundane in comparison. Also, this next part is personal to my tastes, but probably worth mentioning; fetishistically it isn't really futadommy at all. The futa actually takes, then gets her only kinda big cock sucked and it's just briefly mentioned she prefers being on top. Further, the sex itself seems fairly standard as well. There was the one funny moment of her slathering the boy's face in her load and him having to blow it out of the way to breath, but other than that, it almost seems emphasized how normal the pairing is. Still a fun sweet story, but if you were wondering why A Dream Come True went over better, this is the best explanation I have. It's a larger than life story with a massive memorable punch to it. No one goes to a porn website, then just watches random amateur porn with no tags. The same principle seems to be at play here. Regardless, sorry for the giant post, and thanks for a year of great erotica! Can't wait for more.

2024-12-31 08:09:08 +0000 UTCHappy new year to you too, and Iβll be looking forward to SG3, knowing it will be the end of the trilogy gives me mixed feelings but, I believe you could pull off the Star Wars move and make a second trilogy on the same level. Happy new year to yβall.
