Apr 2025 Update (May Billing Pause)

TL;DR: Billing pause starting Apr 30, all is normal otherwise, expect a patchy summer.

I hope this update finds you well and thriving despite the turbulent times we find ourselves in. On my end everything is going great! I've been busy as a bee but the better weather means I'm getting outdoors more and that is ALWAYS good for me. 😄

Related to that comes the big news of this update, that being: I will be pausing billing for May. Since the summer months are going to see my output dip periodically I thought I'd give y'all a month free at the outset. June in particular will be disrupted but I've also got some quick nature trips in May, July and August that will effect the usual flow. By September things will be back to normal. To all of you who stick with me through the lean months...❤❤❤! As I mentioned last time I don't have precise control of when the pause period ends. I'll be pausing the Patreon sometime on Apr 30th and that should last until May 30th or 31st, but again I can't guarantee precisely when it starts billing again.

Looking back on this month it's pretty much been business as usual.

As for the serials: A Simple Life is now REALLY close to the end. I've definitely got mixed feelings on bringing it to a close as I adore these characters but it is absolutely the right time to wrap things up. Empty Nest carries on with me truly writing by the seat of my pants. lol Been a hell of a lot of fun though.

To the shorts: Queen/Quean for a Day is slowwwly getting to its conclusion. I thought I'd be able to wrap it up this month but it's still going. Again, apologies for rambling on this one. It was nice to FINALLY be able to release Angel of Mercy after the whole M-word fiasco. Hope y'all enjoyed that one. Shiny unsurprisingly wasn't very popular but it was a story that I quite enjoyed experimenting with. And the Plus Short A Special Anniversary was an absolute joy to write. There is something deeply satisfying about writing couples who are completely head over heels for each other.

Looking ahead, again, it should be business as usual.

ASL will be wrapping up, EN will continue and the shorts will be the shorts. The monthly Reader Plus short poll I am going to put up early (probably today) in case some folks want to join or adjust their tier in able to vote in it. (Once the pause begins everything is frozen as is.) And looking further ahead to September I am really excited about discovering what our next serial is going to be. I'm downright giddy about it. lol
