Hello July Patrons!

It is July today, and I wanted to make a post to check in with you guys, and also thank you for being patrons, for my second month ever working with this service! Yay!

A special shoutout to my patrons who are joining in and earning their rewards for the first time this month! I look forward to working with you!

So far it has been really interesting and encouraging to work with you guys through this service, and it has been an honor to receive such generous support so far. The guaranteed income is more than welcome, especially since this is my second month being officially "moved out" for the first time ever! I hope you guys have been pleased at the benefits and engagement so far. I know that some of you who are $10 and above have gotten some pretty sweet deals on larger commissions, which is very exciting!

- Since you are a patron, I would like you to be the first to know about a few things coming up here soon. First of all, the most immediate matter, I will be out of office starting this Friday (July 3rd) through to next Sunday (July 12th), so if you have any questions at all about payments, rewards, commissions, etc., please reach out to me beforehand, or wait until I return to attempt reaching out. I will still be working on commissions when possible, communicating when needed with customers, but I'll be mostly going dark during that time. Your patience is very appreciated!

- Secondly, I would like you guys to prepare for a notable price increase for all commission types. With my current prices and work speed I have been falling very short of my current personal goals, which is extremely important, considering me and my partner's biggest goal right now is being able to afford a down payment/mortgage on a house. We currently have a deadline of January 2021 to do so, otherwise I may be kicked out and forced to move back to my home state, away from my partner. (Apologies for getting personal, this is the hard reality right now.) For me to be able to continue doing this as my full-time job, there is no avoiding a rework of my prices. I'm grateful for each and every one of you that understands this and supports me. I very much enjoy doing this and will do everything in my power to continue producing art for you guys, improving it all the while! You can expect the price change to become public and come into effect in August, unless otherwise announced.

- Also, for my Lightning Beasts, and those interested in that tier, it is made official now that one person may only claim a Lightning Beast tier slot 3 months in a row (meaning you may only receive the rewards for this tier 3 times in a row) before the slot is manually emptied for someone else to claim. For those that claim the Lightning Beast tier the maximum 3 months in a row, a 3 month cooldown period will come into effect before that person may claim a Lightning Beast slot again. However this will not affect their ability to claim first-come-first-serve in-stream commission opportunities as they pop up through my Picarto.tv openings. I am also hoping to up the number of Lightning Beast slots to a total of 5, but this is still very up in the air, all things considered.

- For the sake of transparency, and to reiterate one of the points from before, I am currently very seriously considering taking up a part-time job, if possible, which will have a drastic impact on my art production. No big decisions have been made yet, I would just like you guys to be aware that it's possible some things could really change, as much as I would absolutely 100% prefer to keep art as my full-time occupation. Adulting is hard.

Overall, 2020 has been rough for everyone. But we are over half way through it, and I think we are doing a great job in staying connected, supportive, and doing all we can to take care of ourselves and our loved ones in this time. I cannot express how much of a difference your support has made, and how much fulfilling work I have done, all thanks to you guys in these past several months.
