Sidesaddle at Schönbrunn
Added 2022-09-27 15:44:13 +0000 UTCII finally got my hands on the footage taken in Vienna when we did a press moment for Austria for Life, which is the new name for The Life Ball, currently postponed. I had mere minutes to get sidesaddle tips before getting on the horse, as we were late waiting for someone to arrive. It was a windy day, no helmet, no sidesaddle experience or even recent rides, so I was nervous for sure. He’s a beautiful Lippizaner, very tall, and I am sure he would have rather had his owner on him, not me! I had a 15 minute lesson (with helmut) just after this, and felt much better, we even did a bit of trotting.
