Here’s a little snippet of video from my shoot for the Las Vegas announcement. I’ll be posting the first look at that, along with other images here first before anyone else sees it.

And yes, this was a bitch to wear while corseted and wearing sky high heels. I am teetering for certain…it’s always interesting when you have a costume with the weight distributed in unusual ways; it always takes some getting used to! Kudos to all the dancers who have worn this onstage for the past 35 years in Jubilee!

My dresser and the costume archivist for Jubilee, who also happens to be former showgirl, reassured me that I was wearing this for much longer than someone would be wearing it on stage. She’s a very kind lady. I went in there thinking “oh I’m not going to be able to wear any of these things because I’m too short”. And she said that’s nonsense and gave me the confidence to try all the most complicated pieces!

What an adventure this will be!
