Here’s a very casual video I made in my bathroom, just going through some of what’s in my cabinet at the moment.
Again, I am not getting paid for sharing these products, and yes, some are more $$$ than others. And I have to add to this, I still like my Weleda Wild Rose Natural Deodorant better than the one I mention here. The jury is still out on the weird hair remover. It does look very cool sitting there, matching the chrome fixtures. It’s the kind of thing I would buy watching home shopping late at night.
And for sunscreen, the dewdrops I mention are a bit too slick for me, so I think I’ll keep hunting for others. I am eager to try the La Mer one, but every time I think to, I see the price, gasp, and remember I should use up all my others first. If things like sunscreen aren’t a pleasure, I won‘t make it a routine, hence the justification for paying a bit more for a scent and experience I enjoy. There are many good sunscreens at the $15-20 range at the drugstore. But I‘m always looking for that Holy Grail one, which I have found in Asia… brands like Dior Snow. The name got me. I’m a sucker for ultra-light and a nice scent or no scent. And admittedly, I fall for branding!
I didnt go through all my vitamins which are sitting there, but I like the New Chapter brand, and I take D3, a multivitamin, Lions Mane, and I keep wellness drops handy, I like some from France called L52. I also take collagen by Ancient Nutrition. I don't go crazy on vitamins because I drink the Athletic Greens brands powder mixed into water every day.
And I am curious to know who else uses these skincare devices and if you see a difference? I think you have to be quite disciplined for them to be effective. I go through phases of laziness. I love to buy them and I get excited, but it would be nicer if someone were using them on me while I sleep. 😴
Love to hear about your favorites too! 💋
Special thanks to Alphonse for making this video more interesting. 😸
