Happy New Year!

I am going through the images from last night, so and will post them here in a few hours, but meanwhile, here’s a photo of Joan Collins visiting me in my dressing room afterwards. I was giddy. I’ve actually been listening to Joan’s autobiography on Audible… it’s amazing, so I’ve been especially excited to spend time with her. Dynasty aside, she’s a brilliant actress, and I’ve always loved watching her on screen in older movies like The Girl in the Red Swing. Have you seen it? Epic beauty!
She absolutely loved the show, and asked for a souvenir for her daughter’s husband, so we found a discarded stocking and I signed it for her to take to him. I’m crazy about her, she’s soooooo glamorous and witty and… her eyes are mesmerizing.
Apologies for not updating the past few days, but I have to say, last night was the hardest show of my life. We had a few new performers, so a lot to do with rehearsal and costumes, and with the heavy rain last night, well…. it threw the whole show off schedule. We had to cut certain things, and so my wardrobe changes turned into quick changes, which I can tell you these costumes are not built for a quick change! But, alas, we pulled it off. And I’m excited to start the tour next week.
Stay tuned for pics. I will take a little bit together all the footage and edit it for you. We had two cameras filming, so hopefully we got some good coverage.
