Sparkulars!
Added 2023-01-31 01:35:14 +0000 UTCMany of you who have seen the show already might have noticed these faux pyrotechnicspyrotechnics I purchased for the tour. We used them all across Europe and the UK. Interestingly, we got back to the US, and the pyrotechnics association in the United States has managed to have them restricted, even though they are cool to the touch. This is strictly a money grab, them wanting us to pay between $3000 and $5000 per show for a pyrotechnics person to come out and stand guard with a fire extinguisher. So you might have noticed they don’t appear in every show. Some cities surprisingly have no issue with them, but others are following what the pyrotechnics association says. So I made this little video to send ahead to some other venues who are not sure what they are.
We did pay a Pyro person to come for one of the shows, and he stood there all jacked upwith the fire extinguisher in hand, ready to run in and save the place from the cold sparks…and meanwhile, I was on my hands and knees, trying to cough up a piece of confetti that I had accidentally inhaled. It was all fine in the end, but I had a piece of confetti stuck in my throat and had to eat a banana to push it down because I couldn’t get it out. I was kind of scary. But I didn’t really see him jumping toward me to give me the Heimlich maneuver. 😂

Yes! Some venues won’t book my with my fire act, even though I come with a safety and its me putting torches out… in my mouth. 🤷🏾♀️
