Author's Note.
Over the past two weeks, I've added new content to the story and made changes to some aspects of the sex scenes, so the version shown in the sneak peeks is a bit different from the current one.
This happened because L's Side Story was actually the first NSFW story I wrote, and I only realized I wasn't entirely happy with certain elements after finishing the coding and giving it some time before revisiting everything with a 'fresh' eye.
The changes mainly involve expanding the canon part of the story [the party] and reducing the ending of the 'what if' scenario [the post-sex scene].
About word count: the actual word count of the story is 29k words [excl. code].
Different files are used for scenes with different dynamics, and some elements are repeated in them. Since I can't exactly calculate what's repeated, I cut one of the files completely out of the calculation.

I admit that I personally like playing a bold and playful MC that can initiate the touching and intimate moments easily. However, I don't really like constantly blushing. Same with my RO. I like playful banter and dominating RO more. One that goes on top. That's why I was wondering. I totally get that it's already a lot of variables to take into account so please do what you can. The story and the characters are fantastic so far and I really can't wait to read more. By the way, your English is excellent for someone who isn't a native English speaker.

The reason is that I already have to manage a lot of variables and their combinations (such as the MC's and the RO's gender, the MC's body parts, the chosen development of the scene, whether the MC has hair, etc.). Specifying the initiative before the scene is the most natural and easiest way I've found to let players decide how the scene will unfold and for the game to react accordingly. Regarding your point about being bold or shy in a relationship not limiting the dynamic in sexual intercourse: you can choose the shy flirt option but still take the initiative. I'll think about what I can do, but as I mentioned, I already offer a lot of choices, and it's challenging to keep track of all the combinations, so I can't say for sure how I will handle this in future side stories. I am talking in all the story and side stories. Not just this specific scene. Or is it only one sided with the combo --> shy/RO takes the lead = bottom et bold/MC takes the lead = top? I am asking because being bold or shy in a relationship shouldn't limit the dynamic in the sexual intercourse, in my opinion.

As for L, that night, they basically drank whatever was on the table without being too picky, which is why they got drunk so quickly 😅 But in general, they prefer cider above all, as it's lighter than the rest. They also enjoy shots, but it's more about the process than the actual drink inside.
