LEXINOMICON

This is a collaboration with Black Armada's Becky Annison. I'm a big fan of Becky's work and we've been friends for a good while, now, after meeting as part of the UK Indie RPG League. I really enjoyed Bite Marks, a game about werewolves, which has a brilliant rule about being able to argue and fuck your way to an automatic group-wide success in combat. It's very clever.
She did a game called WRECK THIS DECK, which is about messing up a deck of cards, and we did something a bit similar together but instead of a deck of cards it's a book, and it's called LEXINOMICON.
I wanted a bit more of a focused challenge so there's some directed play through the Mysteries, but at the core of it the game is a punky mess about breaking book taboos which is what it's supposed to be about, so that's good. If you play it you should definitely post pictures online and try to lure in other people to comment and play - I think it would work really well on a Discord where everyone took part in the same "investigation."
