Elephant Town Chapter 5 (pages 4-7)

Of course I snuck yoga into this story.

Here are the two pages separately, in case you'd like to see them a little bit closer:

Special thanks to all the $3+ patrons who volunteered the most interesting answers to "what do you think about when you're thinking about nothing" the other day! As you can probably tell if yours was chosen, I was enamored with your answers and threw most of my original ideas out the window. ;)

I had my interns work on improving this page, and they had some great ideas that I'll likely revise these with!

Oh she's thinking about the curtains!

Hazirah

UPDATE -- tried to meditate today. The final double pannel was ALL I could think about 😅

Kat Kennewell

This is like a mind reader sat in on my home yoga practice, I love this so much

Reese

Hahaha oh boy I did not pay attention to context when I was laying out those thought bubbles!

Danielle Corsetto

I 100% assumed the ow ow was her vag's thoughts!

Hahaha! Oh gosh, I definitely the "ow... OW" and "Is this empty enough?" thoughts quite a lot when I meditate!

Katie McMahon

I love this! I related not just to "ow... OW" person, but also the "mmm hot surfers" and also "do we have avocados" and "is this empty enough" people, so, I guess your people are my people. XD

Amy Crook

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hot surfer dudes, or am I reading into this? ;-) This is fabulous on so many painful levels.

Ruth Merriam

THANK YOU, it cracked me up so much I had to include it!

Danielle Corsetto

These are my favorite pages so far. I don’t know how else to describe it but: I’m there.

Chris Driggers

Awww it's nice to see my ocean thoughts in this. <3

Ha! That's totally how shavasana is. No wonder it takes me awhile to fall asleep at night too.

Every detail of this is perfect. One of my favorite teachers used to say “Hello, beautiful yogis” when she came into the room. Good god, how I miss in-person yoga classes.

"is this empty enough?" It me.
