secret: the origins of werewolf knights in WYRM came from a conversation about Saint Christopher the dog-head. and then LOTS of cryptid stories on dogmen.

I've always had a certain interest in the -background and culture- of the various races in your setting. Like, what do the Cynocephali DO when they're not slaying dragons or protecting princesses? Do they eat bones and bark at the moon? War among themselves? Train or create new sword-arts? The same question could apply to the degenerate Wyrm-spawn who lorded over humanity as vassals, or the Bonemen.
