LINDWURM

They are at the low end of the WYRM hierarchy and often purposed as bioweapons used against human settlements to thin out the Ape herds with disease in preparation for a true Dragon occupation. Lindwurms carry horrific pathogens (some natural and some WYRM-made concoctions) and can thrive in almost any environment. Overall they are bestial-level intelligence and used mostly as slave labor/canon fodder for the royal lines, but once a Lindwurm colony reaches a certain population they have been known to become unruly and rebel against their masters.
Lindwurms are based heavily on ye olde European wurm art of a two legged lumpy serpent getting trodden on by a Knight's horse or getting a mouth-full of lance. They often live on the outskirts of a Ground WYRMS territory and feed on the waste/leftovers.
WYRM has a main storyline but allot of side quests that focus on different dragonslayers and different WYRMS. The arc that focusses most on Lindwurms will be set in the sewer/catacombs of a city focusing on b list knights who get the leftover contracts after guys like George/Tainted and Gozon hunt the drakes and hydras.
