In the post-SATAN demonic expansion of the early Conglomerate new and radical ideas were being collated. Muspelheim had long been a sought after territory for Infernal influence especially as the SURT was on the demonic most-wanted list for millions of years. The Fire JOTTUN had illegally acquired a top secret item while working on the first weapon reclamation program (a joint operation with Dwarven heavy industries/Hephestus tek/SURT & Conglomerate specialists) tasked with reverse engineering the old technology of the divine swords (medical scalpels of reality)

Open war with the ARKONIC digitized Asgard was inevitable but the newly formed Conglomerate did not yet have the former SATAN empire completely under control and war with Asgard would mean DODEKATHEON and Ennead involvement. For the first time in a millennia demons were at a disadvantage, so they turned to him. The one who had proven himself worthy in the Crimson Wars and solidified his standing in the Frozen Hells campaign. The godlings would need to be reminded of their place.
