She was indeed descendant from the orion monarchy and could be considered UMBABA's aunt of sorts. When TIAMAT fell it was a major change in the power structure (king BASILISK meddled in the politics that lead to her downfall as well)

Your idea of a multi-generational war on her eponymous planet is one of the parts I'm excited to see unfold. Did she have any connection to the Orion Queens or even elder kings like UMBABA or BASILISK? I can imagine her death and the destruction of her planet after would have left quite the power vacuum...
