2019-12-30 01:17:41 +0000 UTCBerserk pays such attention to the combat, casca really takes the time to attack under or around her enemies armor instead of just stabbing through plate like a lot of fiction and they do it throughout the series with all the characters well except Guts who cleaves through plate armor like it’s fabric but he’s guts so we don’t really care lol, I heard a rumor (so a pinch of salt of course) that Miura when writing and drawing golden age had a book on medieval arms and armor that by the time he was done was nearly in pieces
