Very true, thanks, take care!

It is amazing how realistic dreams can appear sometimes. I am also interested in lucid dreams when you can actually take control of dreams, incredible. Thanks for sharing, take care!

I have never had a repeating dream, it is amazing how we all differ in that aspect, thanks for sharing such an interesting story, take care!

Dreams are the coolest this ever when you remember if they are good ones

You’re certainly not crazy with the “I’ve been here before in a dream” thing because I’ve experienced that several times so far in life, probably 4-5 times I’ve had insane deja vu when I go to some new places. I remember one dream in particular that is pretty patchy since I didn’t write it down, but near the end there was an assassin who put a bomb on some lady’s arm, and she exploded. I saw this, yet there was no blood, and the assassin looked at me and came to me and put another bomb on my arm and he said, “You’re dead now”. And this was certainly a lucid dream at that point, and the action I took was to shove my arm down his throat and say, “No, you’re dead”, and at that point he exploded and I woke up very suddenly.

I agree about the subconscious aspect, I've had dreams that tell me about what is stressing me out, what I need to focus on or address in my life. I've also had extremely strange dreams. I had one reoccurring dream, I had it twice when I was about 10 years old. This was around 2003 or so I think. I had a dream that I was Link from Wind Waker, inside the game but from a first person perspective, and everything was cel shaded, brightly colored, and I was on a small island. On the other side of the island was a panda, and I remember thinking the panda looked really cute and cuddly, as you do. But then the panda came up and started mauling me, and I saw it rip the skin of my fingers and start eating my stomach, and I remember holding onto the sword from the game and dropping it as it attacked me, and then I woke up. I suspect around this time I learned that pandas are very aggressive creatures and not very cute and nice, possibly? I'm not sure what at all triggered that dream. And I had it twice, the second time I knew exactly what was going to happen the second I saw the panda and it all repeated again. The dreams I have the most often are ones where I think I'm awake, and I'm late for work or something. I've lived out entire careers, relationships that end badly or marriages where I have a huge argument, stuff like that, that feels very realistic and not dreamlike, those are pretty hard to snap out of. It goes hand in hand with the fact that as a kid I also sleep walked a lot, so I have a lot of moments of being "half in the dream". After those realistic dreams, I end up fusing part of the dream with reality and it takes me around 10 minutes to get back to reality. Crazy stuff.
