FEED US MORE DRAGONS

WE CALL ON THE WISDOM OF THE ROYAL VIZERS

Some of you have preemptively dropped some good candidates but I want to officially announce the openings for new dragons to add to the WYRM lore. My only rule is that the dragon must be from established mythology in some form, so if you have any interesting WYRM candidates from your region/culture please share.

(For those who already blessed me with the knowledge of several dragons, if you had one you favored above the others post it here)

Hey there, don't know if you still take suggestions but another dragon like being could be Shesa/Shesanaga/The Nagaraja or king of all snakes, but i don't know if it integrates in WYRM since he is practically a god.

I have three, forgive me if they've been mentioned before: Leviathan-the biblical/Jewish Qabbalism version. It's massive and eats 300-mile long fish like they're nothing (probably based on, or inspired depending on your religion, Jormungandr and would rival him in size). I don't remember seeing him around; his description of having scales and breathing fire makes for a draconic image. Some incarnations/depictions have 7+ heads. Often conflated with Hell, usually the sin of Envy, and can also be a living Hellmouth. I personally prefer it as the opposite: a divine beast, who along with its two counterparts Behemoth and Ziz were the final animals of Eden and, when standing on one another's backs, can reach the throne of God (order goes Leviathan, Behemoth, Ziz if you're curious). Two versions of why there's only one of each: God created two of each, but when Adam fell, God saw that the three divine beasts would destroy the world should they breed, so he killed their partners. The second version is that Behemoth and Leviathan were actually a mated pair, but when Adam fell God made them mortal enemies to keep their children from overwhelming creation. I guess the Ziz just got shafted in that version, or they liked kinky threesomes. Wani-A Japanese sea dragon that roughly equates to 'shark' or 'crocodile.' An oceanic crocodile-shark dragon sounds pretty awesome to me, personally. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wani_(dragon) Yig, Father of Serpents-the cheeky pick. Yes, I'm the guy who wants you to draw the Cthulhu Mythos. This would be a neat Venn-diagram-style crossover. Yig is a Great Old One that is the god and source of all reptiles, with a particular fondness/affinity for snakes. Considered one of the least hostile of the Great Old Ones, to please this deity requires only consideration for his children, while cruelty will bring his swift, terrible wrath. Sorry for the length and suggesting more than one. And being so late.
