I agree with Zachary that you should watch the OVA (as I have brought up in DM's and all). It can be watched in chronological order or after season 1, doesn't really matter. It takes place between episodes 6 and 7 of the director's cut, so whenever we get to that point. I think Subaru goes through the whole 5 days again when he resets, because Roswaal when talking to Ram in episode 4 says he's been there for 5 days at that point on the night where Subaru dies in his sleep after first promising Emilia to go on the date or whatever. I like arc 2 as there's a lot of foreshadowing in it and mystery to it. Who killed Subaru on the first night? What about the second? Was it Roswaal, Ram, Rem, Beatrice? Some unknown person? Roswaal did say anyone who's too conspicuous (talking about Subaru) should be killed (signaled by his hand gesture making a slicing motion at his own throat/head. That could just be used as narrow evidence though to throw you off. Lot's of stuff going on and lots of little hints everywhere that you could spot throughout these two episodes. Can't wait for more, as the series really picks up soon. It was a sleeper of a series online until it's sudden rise in popularity starting around where you're at. Take care!

Matter

The lyrics of both the ED and OP are so intune with show, I love simply reading them. This episode (or pair of episodes) focus is mainly on introducing the other characters in the mansion. There is so much nuance left here for each of them that it makes rewatching more rewarding. I want to talk about some of it but I'm not sure if you would consider it a spoiler, so I will refrain. The only other thing I will note is that there is a hour long OVA set between episode 11 and 12 (or between 6 and 7 for the Director's cut I would assume) While it is not really that important for the story, I still think it is certainly worth a watch. I would be interested in seeing you watch it in the chronological order but would also be okay if you decided to wait until you finish season 1
