2019-11-22 14:59:49 +0000 UTCI love everything about this episode and the next, the stopped time in the opening, the callback to the first appearance of star platinum by having him catch a bullet and the fact that this whole time star platinum has been holding back. If he's able to not only crack DIO's skull open with a single punch but turn his face into mush it shows that this entire time he's held back against enemies as to not kill them instantly (except steely dan )

2019-11-22 04:43:40 +0000 UTCIm so glad you didnt miss DIO interrupting the intro, that’s one of the greatest things in Jojo by far. And a lot of people don’t like that Jotaro can stop time like DIO can, but as you noticed from the flashback, DIO tested and refined his abilities as best he could and learned about his time stop, while Jotaro doesn’t try and be the most powerful, he just punches stuff and so he didn’t get that same epiphany until now.
