Unfortunately he changed in a way that hurt me deeply and I've never spoken to him since. I play some guitar myself, ironically that old friend taught me how to play. It's hard to pick up and I thought the journey to becoming better was a little rough since in the starting stages it doesn't feel like you're going anywere and there's no pay off to repeating chords, but when you finally get to play some songs it becomes worth it.
