He's directly saying it to us, it's the reason we're watching the show. We crave violence, and wanting to see him getting eaten is proving his point. There's a lot more if you want to look it up online. Pretty meta stuff.

2020-04-15 03:35:11 +0000 UTCJust to clarify, nobody knows the truth here. to Marley the eldians are a race of devils who committed horrible things in the past like mass murders and rape to keep their race alive and so they published this in their books and to the eldians their ancestor Ymir fritz ( who from her came the nine titans like the colossal, the beast and the armored titan that we've seen throughout the story as mentioned in the episode ) eldians say she was a goddess who helped people and the Continent flourished under her, but grisha doesn't know that he just assumed it just like how when Grice asked him how he knew about all this and questioned him if he deciphered the old texts to which grisha replied No but he believes in their ancestors, nobody knows the truth.

You managed a full watch without one pause! Well, I enjoyed your theories whilst they lasted! Would still be interested in a Season Four theory video if you have enough ideas to do one though!

2020-04-14 23:55:05 +0000 UTCAhhhh I’ve been waiting for this episode the amount of info that is about it be dropped is crazy, this is definitely a episode most people are gonna need a second viewing of. Damn near every scene in this episode has a revelation in it. Not to mention what Eren is going through can you imagine re living your own fathers memories with all the emotion intact, incredible. Can’t wait for the next one.....honestly every episode we have left is gonna be a doozy
