2020-04-18 22:15:14 +0000 UTCHunter X Hunter really drops you in to the characters right off the bat and it can take a bit to warm up to them and really get deep into them, but later on it gets really incredible. If you like their personalities now you'll love it even more as they go through their adventures.

2020-04-18 18:50:05 +0000 UTCI knew this was coming but didn't expect to see the reaction to HxH start so soon. This is a top 5 anime for me, and definitely one of the best shounens out there. It's well paced, thoroughly engaging, and probably has some of the best battle mechanics/strategy i've seen, which leads it to having some incredible fights. Definitely excited to rewatch this!

I'm currently in the midst of my first watch of the series (ep 40) so I wasn't sure if I should hold off on watching the react till I was finished - but it was fun looking back on episode one!

2020-04-18 17:37:16 +0000 UTCAttack on titan is over soon with the last episode coming and honestly there isn't many series that can replace it, but i honestly believe this easily can. It's my personal favorite and i'm happy you're starting it, it's one of those series where you shouldn't "judge a book by it's cover". It looks pretty childish on the surface but it get's more mature and there's a lot of good deep themes to be explored It definitely has a slower start to it but it ramps up the more you get into it.

The manga is still ongoing, and it's been on hiatus since 2018 (Togashi is notorious for these long breaks), but hopefully you'll check it out once you're done with the anime.
