2020-02-16 14:01:13 +0000 UTCActually, the first time we saw Marlo he stood out as the only member of the Military Police that wasn't corrupt and wanted to clean up the MP from the inside. He even confronted some senior officers that were selling military equipment to the black market and got the shit kicked out of him for it, so it makes a lot of sense that he would want to join the Scouts and help them uncover the truth.

2020-02-15 05:04:10 +0000 UTCYeah Yams did day he thought he dragged this arc out for too long in the manga. He wasn't wrong imo. For a monthly chapter release it really went on for too long. That said, some things are missed that are important that happened in the manga that won't happen in the anime.

2020-02-15 00:38:48 +0000 UTChonestly, I don't blame you for not noticing Levi's last name drop by Kenny. For some reason when I read this part in the manga I didn't question it until Kenny's last name was dropped here & I was like "what? he's an Ackermann? wait a minute....Levi is too, right?". I think I didn't question it for 2 reasons: When Eren saw Levi the 1st time (during the gate-sealing mission w/ the boulder as a titan) he only saw his back 1st but thought it was Mikasa, despite her being next to him. Furthermore, when the Female titan appeared, Armin concluded in his head that only Mikasa & Levi could have a chance to take her down. So I guess in my mind I already got comfortable with the idea these 2 being related, hence why I didn't realize how Levi's last name was actually an interesting twist of information.
