Rem really does like Subaru now, yes. Looks up to him quite a bit. It's kind of sad how poorly she was written in this compared to later episodes, lol. It'll be great to see those moments again. His phone isn't dead because he just doesn't use it, plus it's a flip phone. Those thing's batteries can last for like 3 months. It's only been about a week and a month in real time since Subaru came to the mansion. Petra at the very beginning got all pouty because Subaru explained what a date was and that he was going on one with Emilia. Not because he was originally keeping a secret from her (a kid). Take that as you will. Hope you enjoyed. Can't wait for the next few episodes!
