I used to enjoy watching Samurai Jack and Ed Edd n' Eddy when I was a kid too, that brings back some memories. I also didn't always have cable either when growing up, I can definitely relate to that. Thanks, take care!

I didn't have cable as a kid, so I had to watch scraps of all my favorite cartoons at my grandparents houses. Early 2000's, my favorite cartoons were DBZ, Samurai Jack, Ed edd n' eddy and up until the internet got advanced I had only seen a handful of episodes from each and still adored them. I only had access to WB kids and so my sister and I watched a ton of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Batman. That was pretty much all I had access to regularly. When we got cable around 2006 I watched toonami and my (technically) first animes that aired at that time were Naruto and the 4Kids dub of One Piece which was awful.

Toonami was how I got into dragon Ball which was the first anime I watched, same as you I had no idea what it was or the difference to normal cartoons 😂 then later on at the start of high school my friend asked my to watch code Geass and it's been go since then 😂
