2020-03-02 22:00:52 +0000 UTCHonestly, as my second seasonal anime (having only seen Darling in the Franxx prior, and I guess Parasyte when I was super young), back in 2017, I was just blown away. I still am now. 15 and 18 are my favorite episodes.

The music, the animation, the creature unfolding from the mansion with its piercing yellow eyes, and then along with Subaru's head; the blood red credits roll. Took me a while to process everything I'd just seen. I felt as though I'd just watched a classic tragic samurai movie, and had just no idea what to feel or think! Was worth watching it all again to see your reaction, which did not disappoint!
