Basically he stated that he wanted to save others from similar diseases which require money, but going to a medical school costs a lot of money too, so he aims to get rich by becoming a hunter in order to become a doctor
2020-05-20 18:09:52 +0000 UTCIt's interesting that the author of Hunter x Hunter has also written a popular series called Yu Yu Hakusho and in that series the opening Smile Bomb is used in the entire series aswell. So maybe it's one of his requests because he likes the songs, that's just my theory though. You should check out the Yu Yu Hakusho opening though, one of my favorites especially the dubbed version.
