He was also in Hera's ear when she concocted the TYPHON bioweapon with Gaia's tissue. He waged wars on all reality and colonized Hells in all dimensions. And still he was betrayed by his brothers and torn to pieces when he was at his weakest.
The Mantle is a piece putting itself back together. Or he is a imposter using the great name to gather an army. Regardless there will be confrontation with the Conglomerate and another Crimson Age is brewing.

I can only wonder what the True Mantle looked like in its prime. Angelic Wyrm? Eldritch Serpent? Or perhaps simply the Grandest Dragon to ever scour the stars!
