Plague Giants "guard" secret Xibalban facilities from outside intruders by eating anything they see but they are untamable. More of a powerful deterrent for both those inside and out. The hegemony of course has secret passages to avoid plague giant detection when entering or exiting these facilities. Absolutely untamable even by the most powerful rot gods
