After SCHISM the defeated First Weapons were smote from the highest place of authority and fell through all the newly formed universes; their Holy birthmarks (halos) were shattered and they could never perceive reality as it was truly meant to be again, near omnipotence was stripped from them. Such a horrific experience killed some and crippled many others even before they landed at the bottom of existence.

One First Weapon could not take the agony of ultimate failure and split its soul during the fall becoming two completely separate creatures. One piece kept the light and strives to be forgiven and return to the Authority, another piece kept falling and adapted to the dark crushing pressure of the first Hell colonies. Belobog still tries to complete the great work that the angels were built for and is genuinely “benevolent”. Chernobog brings death and destruction with the Infernal menace, first serving under the old SATAN emperor and then for the current Conglomerate (he also was the first teacher of the Crow Prince Torquemada).

During the 1st and 2nd Crimson Age’s of Demonic expansion Belobog allied with the Godheads and fought his dark half in 3 separate duels that would define the course of those battles. One win, one loss, and one draw. (The loss should lead to the Tannhäuser Gate Massacre)
