So it is with one eye on the horizon and the other on the giant Paul Bunyan statue ominously looming overhead that we plow right into a snowbank of greed, impotence, mindless violence and what will surely stand as the best wood-chipper scene in movie history.

2023-11-21 19:09:01 +0000 UTCSouthern Manitoban here, nobody I new from the south in North Dakota had the accent but I shit load of farmers north of where I grew up had the accent. Also you should check out the Fargo tv series, it's actually got a lot more in common thematically with the entire Coen Brothers Oeuvre than Fargo itself. Season 2 especially is has a Millers Crossing influence.
