If you forgot, this show takes a Futurama episode and thematically pairs it with an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which works surprisingly well.
This episode David and Michael discuss the nature of “loose horse shit” as well as answer the question of what space tastes like. This episode they also dive into the Futurama episode where we learn Hermes’ backstory.

In regards to Klingon diets. In Voyager, 7 of 9 starts living out people the borg have assimilated, and the first thing we see is her acting like a Klingon ransacking Neelix's kitchen. She throws aside like 12 different fruits and vegetables till she finds a piece of meat, which implies that klingons do have specific tastes and preferences, and arent just garbage disposals.

So I looked up the episode and sure enough, they're all white women in black face, same as Alexander. Ugh.
