I don’t know if anyone has ever mentioned this, but in regards to the Futurama episode numbers; I had the dvds during their original release and there were only 4 season. Im not sure how they split them up to 5 later

Well good news, my friend: you missed an important bit of dialogue. The Professor tells the crew that they need to go to Haley's comet because it's the "only source of ice that does not have bugs in it" in the universe. So, that's why it's just Haley's comet. When that comet is out of ice, we're doomed. You can sleep easy now! Love you guys
