Archipel - Patreon Renewal

Hello everyone,

Together with Archipel Caravan, we are launching today a renewed version of our Patreon. After having teased about it for a while, here are the updates that are taking place today.

Tiers -

- $1 Supporter Tier | We wanted to keep a $1 tier to allow everyone to support us, and as before, it provides you access to the Discord, which we want to make more active. We plan on holding monthly AMAs with Japanese creators where patrons will be able to directly ask questions.

- $5 Documentarian Tier | We removed early access, as we found it was honestly difficult to keep, especially at the pace we are working on the Caravan content and was more of a stress cause rather than something we saw adding real value to our patrons. Instead, we will be launching interview logs of our existing content, written in English and Japanese, that can bring new insights to our patrons. We will start at a rhythm of one log per month.

- $10 Producer Tier | Your name will be featured in the credits for all our upcoming videos during the duration of your patronage, starting with our next video launching next week.

- $100 Sponsor Tier | One can dream… supporters in this tier will have their logo or website featured in our description and at the end of our videos. (Conditions apply.)

Goal -

We added one goal for now, leaving openings for more in the future, that is set at 2,000 patrons. If this goal is reached, we will officially reboot the toco toco channel, introducing new creators and the places that inspire them.

However there is more behind this goal, and behind the whole Caravan initiative. We want to be able to be independent and spend more time on planning and creating content and while we are of course very grateful for the support we received, we are far from being able to sustain the channel.

Admittedly the current situation hasn’t helped either, but we pushed through: Archipel Caravan is sort of our “last dance”. If the above goal is not reached by January 31st, 2021, we will be forced to pause the channel completely, at least momentarily while we look for other ways of financing. 

So please spread the word and help us increase our community to keep us going.
