ComicWIP | Peaks&Chasms Rough Layouts
Added 2017-08-06 14:41:49 +0000 UTCThis is the initial complete sketch of our first patreon-funded comic. This is the first time all the major plot points and visuals are put into place. I usually don't even show this stage to my commissioners, I give the comic a little time to rest and review it once more. This here is a compositional hot take, if you will.
The comic will be an experiment on many levels. Most importantly, I wanted to fit in 8 pages and not cram them with too many panels. Still, I found myself indulging in drawing the specific poses.
Next, I'll go back to the design sheet and work on the expressions and outfits. Even if I don't use the various faces in the comic itself, I want to build enough confidence in the characters to tighten up the sketches with ease.
