I'm sure Scooter intentionally called it post modern instead of post apocalpytic to keep it sleepy. He called the James Bond A View to a Kill movie "A View to a Kitten!" haha! I also loved when Ray talked about his visit to Disneyland, he called the Haunted Mansion the Big Farm Mansion (as in Big Farm in the Sky aka the afterlife/heaven). Another favorite of mine is when, in Game of Drones, he talked about water being added to the guests' wine (instead of poison), and how suddenly all the guests had to go pee and the lines to the bathroom were so long that everyone was peeing their pants (instead of dying from drinking poisoned wine). Love me some Scootereuphemisms!

2019-11-07 10:03:44 +0000 UTCLove to hear the backstory of Dr. T and I. I was wondering why you call its world postmodern rather than post-apocalyptic. Is that just to keep things sleepy? The narrative itself seems pretty realistic (once we accept warring goddesses and talking mules :) A postmodern narrative would be more fragmented, messing with the form of the story itself. Could it just be the wrong word?
