Alright. So.

...Thank you for your patience! It took a bit longer to finish this off, but it also ended up being a bit longer a piece than I was expecting, so hopefully that evens out!

Daniyal has travelled from Anahita to East Khemet in search of the Queen of Golems. He's after her hand in marriage, but to earn an audience, he must first complete the Trial of the Sun! It seems daunting at first, but then he realizes that it may be harder than it is difficult when he meets Safiya.

This story was actually inspired by a friend of mine! Or, rather, an illustration they did. My friend Moldy did an amazing job on some Monster Girl Encyclopedia fanart, and for whatever reason, I was quite taken with their depiction of the Golem, found here! This Golem's stern countenance can be taken as the inspiration for the guard-golem that Daniyal shouts at in the beginning, but I may have to commission Moldy for art of Safiya specifically sometime...
