The Renault Dauphine Gordini featured a tuned 845cc engine, producing 36 horsepower. This was a significant upgrade from the standard Dauphine's 27 horsepower engine. The Gordini also received a 4-speed manual transmission, a stronger engine than the standard 845cc four-cylinder, and independent suspension. It also came standard with 15" factory steel wheels with hubcaps.
