As the summer comes to an end...

As the Summer Of Slug draws to an end, I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude to everybody here for choosing to support me and my work throughout the past two months. Your donations have allowed me to fully embrace the projects I created this summer without having to worry about financial motivations, either through YouTube or otherwise. To call this the best summer of my adult life would be a grand understatement - thank you for allowing me this opportunity!

As promised when this all began, the Summer Of Slug Patreon is closing in just a matter of days now. No one will be charged for September or any months going forward and no action is required on your part.

I will mention here that the Discord server set up for the summer shall continue to be an ongoing thing throughout the year, remaining exclusive to the folks who rose to the occasion these past two months. If you haven't joined yet, please consider joining before the 31st! The link from when you first backed the Patreon campaign should still work - if not, you know where to reach me!

I hope I've somewhat conveyed just how much this summer has meant to me. This was all a HUGE experiment and if it wasn't for you, none of it could have been possible. While I'm going to miss being able to focus 100% of my energies on LEGO related videos, I look forward to the next Summer Of Slug. Given how well it went this year, I see no reason that we wouldn't do it all again in 2024!

The Discord server is going to stay up and everyone who donated this summer is welcome to stay in it, even if you choose not to donate next year either. I won't be kicking anyone out for that reason, you can count on that! Still, I do hope you consider donating again next July should it be financially viable for you, as it truly was all of you who helped make this happen in the first place.

I wasn't able to achieve all of my goals this summer, but on the other hand, the summer did bring many new projects to light that I never anticipated in the first place - Star Mail being one of them!
