A little something new...

We've got quite a few projects in the Work-in-progress phase at the moment, but one in particular that I've been having a lot of fun with and wanted to show you is our attempt at our first movie prop replica: the "Tesseract" from the Marvel films.
We're attempting to build it using epoxy resin and then have an arduino-based LED system inside to give it life. So far we've done about 6 tests and, although we're getting closer, it's not quite looking right yet. Resin is expensive and takes a long time to prepare and cure so the tests are taking awhile but I like the way it's going.
Here's a quick look at a couple of recent tests. Long ways to go but they already look really cool. :)
