SNEAK PEAK: Halloween Witch DOLLAR STORE CHALLENGE!!
Added 2023-09-26 15:14:11 +0000 UTCThis week we're trying something a little different and doing a Dollar Store Challenge makeover on Home Depot's new "Lethal Lily" witch animatronic!
She's 7' tall and has a "swamp witch" theme. Her posture out of the box is a bit robotic so we immediately fixed that (with a hammer...seriously) but what's great is she has full servo movement in her eyes, head and, mouth! The movement is much better than we're use to seeing in these store bought animatronics which is a great step in the right direction!
That said...there's a LOT of room for improvement. Instead of turning her into a totally different character, this time we're opting to make as many improvements as we can using only materials from the Dollar Store! No fancy stuff, no fancy tools, just keeping it simple and using what we've learned to see how far we can push it.
Pose adjustments, painting, adding new props and material details, it's been a lot of fun so far and she's looking good! The video will be out this coming weekend. :)

2023-09-27 03:29:51 +0000 UTCThis sounds like a great inspiration for those of us who buy a Halloween decoration but just want to make it a bit...more, without doing a full rehab while we are tied up working, and raising kids, and cooking, cleaning, and....! I very much appreciate the creations you guys come up with, but I won't be going there!
