This epoxy pour was definitely tricky... 😅

The risk with this epoxy inlay was that if we poured too much resin, the hexagons would be above the surface and not flush. We’d then have to heavily sand down the entire surface to get the epoxy flush with the top which would have taken hours of ultra messy sanding and polishing to get back to a finish we liked.
On the other hand if we poured too little, the hexagons would be below the surface and just look weird.
We thought for a while on how to do this and Jaimie decided she’d try to pour it and get as close to the surface as possible. She nailed it! The pours came out perfect.
The lesson here is, when in doubt, trust the woman (or man) in your life. 😄
