There are a couple of tricks here you can try. The best way is to put the projector up high or low and then use the keystone feature to adjust for the angle. This is a common issue with any type of projecting (not just FX) so a lot of projectors have this built in so they can be placed high above or below the screen. If your projector doesn't have any features to support this, the best thing I've found is to try to position the portal so the main "viewing angle" is a couple feet to the side so it hides the light behind one of the pillars.

I created the dark portal just like yo guys made it and I was wondering how you guys projected the video without the light of the projections seeping through the sheet. Everytime I project the video and I look from the front the light seeps through too much. Please let me know how you did this.
