Ash Raiders WIP & Insight

Here is the first WIP of the "Ash Raiders" head. 2 Things I want to talk about with this set.  

1.) Because of their design (mask, hoses, lots of heavy clothes) these wont be as modular as previous sets. Heads and arms will need to be attached. Too many parts get in the way of other parts.

2.) The next thing is since this gang isn't in the newest edition, what weapons should they have? Are you going to proxy them as another gang? (Cawdor looks like a fit.) Or are you using them in another game system?

I do know they have a special long rifle.

I really like attached arms with multiple poses and having the option to bash with different hands (with weapons attached) from other things previously released. Plus mirroring the models gives you double the poses. I found the Umbra models with the whole arms being separate were a bit too fiddly to work with and get to fight right... and had to assemble them digitally for best results... so personally I'm glad to hear you are not revisiting that design style.

I am excited :) I will use them for stargrave as pirates and for Space Without number campaign as random postapo planet guys or pirates. So i think some light weapons options, some heavy weapon and some meele will be good :) It will be nice, if they will have some HQ / sergeant guy. And if some of them will look little more elite than others, it will be nice for two tiers of guys difficulty.
