Izuku the Stolen Ant Chapter 18

Chapter 18: Cemetery Darkness

(Ant-Hill)

Benta was currently working at his computer in the Ant-Hill when an alert went off. With a few clicks on his keyboard a screen opened up showing a top down view of what was a normal street in the trash pit before a figure showed up at an unmarked building. “Hey guys!” Benta called out getting everyone's attention. “We got movement.”

Soon everyone began to gather around Benta’s computer. “Is it the heroes?” asked Genta.

“Yep,” said Benta as he fullscreened the feed, “They have arrived at the cemetery.”

Izuku looked at the screen, “Hawks and Nighteye are the only ones there at the moment, All Might and Endeavor haven’t shown up yet.”

“You have enough time,” said Sarah.

“You could make it there before they arrive,” said Hanah.

“I know,” said Izuku as he made up his mind. “I’ll head over there myself.” before he turned to grab his stuff.

“Are you sure man?” asked Kenta. “I mean do you want to get in the middle of that?”

“Nope,” said Izuku, “But I really don’t want this shit to hit the fan. If they start a fight it’s going to be big and it’s going to cause the Trash Pit a whole lot of problems.”

“You need any back up?” asked Kenta.

Izuku thought for a moment, “Nah, I hope….I really do hope that those heroes can keep a level head.” he said but it was clear by his tone he didn’t even believe his own words.

“Endevor is going to be there.” stated Benta.

Izuku began to slowly nod, “Yeahhhhh….Maybe some back up may be nice.”

“Alright,” said Kenta with excitement, “I’ll follow you outside the cemetery in my car, who else is in?”

“We’ll join you.” said Sarah.

“It will give us a chance to test out the prototype suits,” said Hanah.

That stopped Izuku, “Whoa whoa, this is just a recon mission. We have no idea if it’s going to go south, they may just be talking. It may not even become a fight.”

“True, but we got to test them out eventually,” said Hanah.

“We’ll just stay in the car unless something happens,” said Sarah. “We’re not stupid to think that we can handle full blown heroes or nuns.”

“That is exactly why I’m staying here.” said Genta as he moved towards his new car, “I’m still working on my new project, but if you need me then just give me a call.”

“Same here,” said Benta as he began to activate the other drones outside of the cemetery. “I’ll be monitoring the outside with the drones.”

Izuku liked the sound of that. “Alright" sounds like a plan.” Izuku couldn’t help but smile, ‘We’re actually looking like a real superhero team.’

~o~

Detective Tsukauchi parked his car on the side of the road and got out, coming face to face with the heroes, “Is this really where the Cemetery is?” He looked around and only seeing regular old buildings. “This looks nothing like expected.”

“Did you really expect a place with the word Cemetery written on it?” joked Hawks while the others ignored him, “How’s the school been, I heard the police have turned the place upside down.”

“Not exactly,” said the Detective, “The Chief of Police wanted to shut the place down but All Might and the now Principal Smith of Saint Grace convinced him otherwise, but now there's an anonymous drop box in front of the school, where students and other people can drop off weapons and contraband off without getting in trouble.”

Hawks thought about it for a second, “How often does that need to be emptied?”

“Several times a day until we added in several more.” said the Detective as he gave the hero an exhausted look.

“Oh damn, has that caused any issues?”

“Not much surprisingly but the school has gotten a lot more attention, increased patrols by police and Endeavor, surprisingly.”

“Endeavor?!” repeated Hawks and Night Eyes’ sidekicks and Intern.

Nighteye adjusted his glasses, “It looks like Endeavor is keeping his word about watching the school.”

Tsukauchi scratched the back of his head, “I’m not so sure, it seems a little different. For some reason he’s been showing up around the school regularly, specifically the children's side of the school.”

“Children’s side?” said Bubble Girl with a bit of shock, “Wait there was a children's side of Saint Grace?!”

“Yep, after you all left and the police force came in, Greg gave us a full tour of the school and apparently there's a wing of the building that’s blocked off for kids 10 and younger. The reason he didn’t show you guys on the tour is because a good chunk of those kids are still young and look up to heroes and would most likely slow the tour down, not to mention the older kids needed it more.” explained Tsukauchi.

Night Eye adjusted glasses, “Some of those students might become problems later.”

“Can you blame them?” asked Hawks, “With where they grew up and only about four teachers keeping them in line is almost impossible.”

“How many teachers are there at Saint Grace?” asked Centipeder. “With so many kids actually going to school now can so few teachers actually handle it?”

“From what I heard the government has helped Greg to get some volunteer teachers to come and help handle the influx of students from the Trash Pit.” Said the Detective before noticing several figures flying in from the sky, “Ah it looks like there here.”

In a moment two massive figures landed near, “I AM HERE!” yelled All Might as the dust cleared revealing him and Endeavor. “How is everyone doing today?” as he greeted everyone.

“Let’s move this along,” said Endeavor impatiently. “We have places to be.”

This raised some eyebrows among the group. Hawks turned to the burnin sidekicks, “What’s up with him?”

Onima, Kido and Burnin looked slightly uncomfortable, “Well…” Burnin then cleared her throat, “Well the boss is having some personal issues at home with…” Endeavor then glared at Burnin, “...aaaaan that’s where I’m going to leave it.”

“Endeavour?” asked All Might.

Endeavour groaned as he remembered what happened a few days ago at Saint Grace.

Endeavour entered Saint Grace to double check to see how the students were acting when he saw something unexpected.“FUYUMI!” yelled Endeavour as he spotted his daughter at the Trash Pits only school. “What in blazes are you doing here?”

Fuyumi was shocked to see her father but quickly collected herself, “I’m here as a volunteer teacher, I heard that they need help and I am a teacher you know.”

Endeavour gave her a disapproving look, “This school is not safe, I thought you taught brats, not delinquents.”

Now it was Fuyumi to give her father a disappointed look. “This school is the only school in the entire area, it also has a wing for kids.” as she gestured to a nearby classroom showing some of the younger kids, “This place is lacking in personnel so much that they’ve asked some of the students to help with the younger kids, especially now that so many of the kids are coming to school now.”

Endeavour could not deny that this place needed help but that did not make him feel better about his daughter being here, “I still do not like this Fuyumi, you are my daughter and you shouldn’t be here in this city let alone this school.”

Fuyumi crossed her arms, “Dad, I am an adult and I was asked to help out here, I’m only working here part time, there’s a bunch of police around here now and I have friends here that can help me if needed.”

“Friends?”

“Sup Endeavour.” They turned to see Izuku walking towards them. “Hey I hate to interrupt but could you tell your sidekicks to chill, they are making some of the students a little nervous.”

Endeavour gave Izuku a death glare, “You….” To his surprise Fuyumi stepped in front of Izuku, shielding him. “Fuyumi…was he the one that brought you here?”

“During one of his study sessions, Izuku mentioned that they might have to reschedule due to being asked by his former teachers to help with some of the students here.” explained Fuyumi, “He didn’t ask me, I volunteered myself and now we need to get back to work. Do you have anything else to say?”

Both Izuku and Endeavour were surprised by Fuyumi, neither of them had ever seen her so serious before. When it came to teaching, Fuyumi was very serious. In the end Endeavour left stewing in his own anger making his mood less than ideal but he made sure to double check the school whenever he had a chance to do so.

‘That little brat, Midoriya. I don’t trust him for a second, he is without a doubt a criminal. If I get a shred of evidence on that boy being or knowing something about Ant-man I will arrest him. I just need something on that damn brat.’ Endeavour then realized his flames were burning brighter causing the other heroes to become concerned. “Is it just us?”

“We have Edgeshot and Best Jeanist on standby a block away.” stated Night Eye, “But we are going in with just the same people that went to Saint Graces the first time.”

“We also have the police force on standby if it turns into a full blown fight,” said the Detective.

“Then let’s get this over with,” said Endeavour as he walked towards the building, “The sooner we get the done the better.”

The others soon began to follow him inside the building unbeknownst them a small flying ant was following them inside. ‘He’s still not pissed about Fuyumi, is he?’ Thought Izuku, ‘Well as long as he doesn’t blow up at the nuns then we should be good, hopefully.’

~o~

Parked not too far away was Kenta, Sarah and Hanah, inside Kenta’s car. “Hey Benta, are they in yet?” asked Kenta over the phone.

“Yeah,” came Benta’s voice over the phone, “They all just walked into the Cemetery. I recommend holding your position, I see several heroes and police nearby on standby.”

“Got it, thanks Benta, keep us posted,” said Kenta as he hung up the phone and let out a held breath, “Alright, it looks like we’re waiting-eh!” Kenta blinked for a moment as he was suddenly the only one in the car.

“Down here!”

Kenta looked down to see two small figures standing in the passenger seat, “Oh damn, I didn’t realize you guys shrunk down, why did you shrink down?”

Hanah then quickly hopped up the seat until she was standing on top of the chair and next to the headrest allowing Kenta to get a good look at the suit that kind of reminded him of an red astronaut. “We decided to get some practice in and thanks to the suits shrinking us we can practice anywhere.”

Sarah then jumped and hopped up on the car dashboard, “Yeah, though I wish, Izuku would complete our real suits, these prototypes are kind of horrendous looking.”

Kenta shrugged, “You guys look like tiny astronauts, what's wrong with that?”

“I want something cuter.” said Sarah simply.

“Izuku did make these so we could practice while he works on our actual suits,” clarified Hanah, “But that does remind me of something, Kenta, why haven’t you tried one of these on yet, according to Izuku, both Genta and Benta have tried them out, why not you?”

Kenta crossed his arms for a second and looked a little embarrassed, “I keep thinking of the green goo.”

“Green Goo?” repeated the girls confused.

Kenta gave them a face of horror, “Remember when Izuku shrunk those plants right after I tried on the suit and my blood turned it into goo.”

“Huh?” the girls were still confused until it clicked, “Oh you mean after the first fight with Rad Volts.” said Hanah as she remembered it.

“Yeah when we first got the Ant-Hill.” said Sarah. “Izuku used your quirk signature or data to show that the pym particles didn’t work with people that had quirks unless he adjusted something about them.”

“I think it was a bit more complicated than that but yeah that kind of sums it up.” said Hanah before turning back to Kenta, “Wait is that why you have tried shrinking yet, because you’re afraid you’ll turn into goo.”

“I’ve been having constant nightmares about it since then,” admitted Kenta looking slightly nauseated, “Everytime Izuku offers to shrink me down or make a suit, I feel like I’m going to throw up. What would happen to me if I really did turn to goo.”

“You’d probably die,” said Hanah, not helping Kenta at all.

“Kenta do you really think Izuku would allow you to turn into goo?” asked Sarah.

Kenta shook his head, “No, I know he wouldn’t do that, but still…” Kenta placed his head on the steering wheel. “I can’t help it, my stomach just goes all queasy.”

Hanah then jumped from the top of the passenger seat to the dashboard with her sister, the two looked at each other before shrugging as neither were sure how to respond to Kenta. “Well I’m sure Izuku might have something else for you to try.”

“Yeah he’s always working on something.” agreed Sarah.

“Yeah,” said Kenta but this time sounding a little depressed. ‘Benta has his drones and Genta’s working on his car project. These two are learning how to shrink like Izuku. What am I doing?’ Thought Kenta. Soon the car became somewhat quiet as the girls began to move around the vehicle at their new size and Kenta began to wonder what he brought to the team.

(The Cemetery)

The heroes walked into the building, on the outside the building looked completely different, like a regular old apartment building you would find in the bad part of town, but the inside absolutely shocked the heroes. The inside looked super clean and much bigger than the outside, it looked like the receptionist room of a high end office, except with no waiting chairs but there was a full receptionist desk that was manned by a nun who gave them a friendly smile. “Hello there, welcome.” said the Nun.

All Might cleared his throat and walked forward to the desk, “Uh Hello there miss…”

“We do not give out names here unless it is of our own free will,” stated the Nun in a cheery voice without losing her smile. “I assume it is your first time here, are you here to visit someone or to drop a deceased off?”

“We are here to deal with the church,” said Endeavour coming from the back, ignoring the protests of the others. “Now bring out this Mother character and come quietly.”

The nun’s smile didn’t falter as she gave a light chuckle, “I’m afraid sir that is not an option and I would like an answer to my question. Are you here to visit someone or to drop a deceased off?”

“I then suggest you get your boss out here, now.” said Endeavour.

The nun then closed her eyes, “Sir I suggest you fix your tone, quickly.” The nun then opened her eyes revealing that they had turned pitch black. “We are being extremely polite right now, so please tell me, are you here to visit or are you here to become a resident of the Cemetery?”

*DING!*

They all turned to see the wall on the far side of the room open up to reveal it to be a big elevator. A nun with green skin walked out of the elevator looking at the group with her pure blue eyes. “It’s alright they came here to visit.” said the new nun, causing the receptionist to blink once more, returning her eyes to normal. It was clear that the new nun was higher rank than the receptionist.

Night Eye looked at the new nun, “Are you the one in charge of this place?”

“No, I don't run the Cemetery. My name is Ina,” said Ina as she gave them a polite bow. “I work directly under the Mother.”

This got the attention of the heroes, “I don’t suppose you’ll take us to her?” asked Hawks.

“Yes,” said Ina simply, “That is why I am here, we heard directly from one of our sisters that you wished to meet us and for now we will play nice.” Ina then closed her eyes, “But…” Ina then opened her eyes revealing they were now pure black similar to the receptionist’s eyes a moment ago, “If you try anything we will have problems.”

All Might and Night Eye were now on high alert, ‘Her eyes changed just like the receptionist, they have similar quirks…or the same quirk. Was this done by All For One…’ Wondered All Might.

Endeavor gave a slight chuckle, “Don’t think so highly of yourself woman, you, the Mother and everyone who works for her is going-” As Endeavour was talking Ina closed one of her black eyes and then to everyone’s surprise Endeavour stopped talking before collapsing to the ground face first.

“ENDEAVOR!” shouted The Burnin Sidekicks as they rushed to his side. They rolled him over slightly to see his face that was frozen in shock. Burnin then put her finger on his neck trying to find a pulse. “I….I can’t find a pulse.” causing a wave of panic with the other heroes.

‘Goddammit, Ina.’ Thought Izuku as he watched the scene from his flying ant, ‘I know you’re smarter than this don’t kill him.’

“That should be enough,” said Ina before opening her closed eye.

Endeavor then gasped for air as color returned to his face, Endeavor quickly stood up and coated his arms in flames, “You…what did you do to me?”

Ina blinked, restoring her eyes back to blue, “I just killed you for a moment, nothing permanent but we can make it permanent if we like. Also when I meant ‘we’ I meant every nun here, we all have access to the quirk Eyes of Death. So please behave.”

“What, that bullshit!” yelled Burnin, “No one can share a quirk.”

Ina couldn’t help but chuckle, “You have a lot to learn about the world child, there are quirks that can be shared, copied or passed down, isn’t that right, All Might.” All Might narrowed his eyes on Ina, the intensity of the glare could be felt by everyone in the room, heroes instantly went on edge and the receptionist’s eyes turned black. Ina quickly raised her hand, “To be clear though we did not acquire this quirk from the one that killed your mother.”

Izuku could tell things weren’t going well, ‘Shit, I didn’t see that one coming. All Might lost someone to a quirk dealer. Which one though, here in the Trash Pit I’ve heard of several rumors of quirk dealers and thanks to my mom, I’ve known about the Church having the same quirk but they wouldn’t go after others for no reason. Was it the rumored Quirk Dealer in Dakota city, All For One, or maybe the heaven's gate person in South America making contracts with people?’

All Might’s glare did waver as his breathing became heavy. “All Might,” said Night Eye, who placed a hand on his friend's arm in an attempt to calm him down.

‘Ina move things along before things get worse.’ Thought Izuku as he hoped the nun wouldn’t make things worse.

“I would like the tour now,” said All Might with a voice that was on edge. It was clear that he was no longer the happy All Might at the moment, he was now very very serious. “Please.”

Ina smiled, “Of course, right this way.” as she gestured to everyone in the elevator.

Soon everyone was packed into the overly large elevator, it was clear that the elevator was designed for larger than normal people so everyone was able to fit in the elevator comfortably but it was incredibly awkward especially around All Might.

Hawks decided to break the tension in the worst way possible, “Sooo All Might, your mom…” Everyone except All Might and Ina turned to Hawks. Detective Tsukauchi slowly shook his head as he could see this was a subject All Might was not okay with, Night Eye made a simple but firm throat slash motion to tell Hawks to stop. The winged hero decided to ignore these. “So this weird fourth kind of quirk to pass other quirks around is real?”

“Yes,” said All Might, his voice laced with anger as he remembered his meetings with All For One. He subconsciously touched the side of his stomach where he was last injured by All For One. “Those kinds of quirks do exist but they are incredibly rare.”

“One of our sisters attempted to research those types of quirks years ago,” said Ina. “From what she gathered less than twenty of those quirks have existed since the dawn of quirks world wide. They are by far the rarest quirks in the world.”

Izuku watched the conversation from the wall before noticing another ant next to him with a camera on it, “Izuku,” Came Benta’s voice over his earpiece. “Did you know about this, I mean I’ve heard rumors about people that could give quirks but…”

“Yeah I’ve known ever since my mom joined the church,” said Izuku. “I’ll admit I thought about tracking someone down to give me a quirk but a lot of those bastards are deal makers and I don’t want to sign those contracts. Especially since me and my mom weren’t in the best place at the moment either.”

“But does that mean your mom has a second quirk?” asked Benta.

Izuku didn’t respond, his silence made it clear it was a sensitive subject. Suddenly the elevator stopped and the doors began to open. “Looks like this is our stop.”

Ina then began to walk out first and was soon followed by the heroes. “The Mother is waiting in the deeper part of the Cemetery.”

“How far down are we?” asked Night Eye.

“Five floors down.” Said Ina as they walked down a Hall labeled Doe 2.

They continued to walk down the very large hallway that was tiled from floor to ceiling for several minutes in silence before Lemillion spoke up, “Uh so this is supposed to be a cemetery right, where are all the graves?”

Ina stopped and gave the boy a confused look, “We’ve passed countless graves already.”

“Huh?” Lemillion was confused along with a few other heroes.

“I don’t remember seeing any graves,” said Kido, “Did you guys see any?”

“No,” said Burnin before noticing Hawks slowly walking towards the wall with a horrific expression on his face. “Hawks?”

Hawks touched the wall and saw that each and every single tile on the wall was engraved and tinted a light blue or pink, “John Doe number 1147, John Doe number 1148, Jane Doe number 1018,” Hawks turned to Ina, “Each of these tiles….”

“Each tile on the wall is a grave.” said Ina simply causing all of the tourists to examine the walls, “This is Doe Hall 2, as the name implies we don’t actually know anyone in these graves so the most we have to go is what little DNA they had left, if you wish for more information we have an office upstairs next to the receptionist. There you can get information on any of the graves here, if there is any.”

Night Eye looked down the hall and back again, “You said this was Doe Hall 2, how many are there?”

“There are currently 8 Doe Halls with a 9th on the way.” said Ina, slightly surprised by their shock.

“That’s impossible,” stated Bubble Girl, “This place doesn’t have a population this big.”

“This Cemetery has been active for nearly 80 years and let me remind you that it is located in the Trash Pit.”

“The dumping ground,” said Night Eye as he adjusted his glasses, “We’ve been thinking that it’s just the dumping ground of the country but in reality it’s much more than that.”

“Sir, are you saying that these graves are from around the world?” asked Centipeder.

“More or less,” Confirmed Ina earning another round of surprised faces, “Oh come now think about it. It is almost impossible nowadays to truly get away with murder unless there's no way to find the body. With quirks that can retrace someone’s steps or looking into the past locations of an object, you need a good dumping ground. Though with reasons I mentioned before is still quite a risk unless the dumping ground is in such a place that is under a very strict but discreet lock down where not a single hero or police officer gives a damn, a place where if you even attempt to recover the remains of whoever you are looking for will get you killed.”

“The Trash Pit is a corpse dumping ground,” said Endeavor before turning to Ina, “And you guys hide the corpses.”

Ina shook her head slightly. “From what I’ve been told this area was already controlled by the underworld long before quirks and for those who were connected to it they saw this place as a dumping ground. When the Mother made the church she struck a deal with the gangs making a safe place for them to bury their own in exchange they allow us to keep a record of all those whose remains are left here in the Trash Pit. If it wasn’t for us, no one, not even you would know of these lost souls.”

Night Eye adjusted his glasses, “I assume this is one of your bargaining chips.” Ina tilted her head slightly, “Don’t play dumb, you clearly don’t wish to fight us and even though you have committed several crimes and violations, the Church has kept somewhat stability here in the Trash Pit. You’re going to use information such as this for some sort of deal.”

“I’m not playing dumb but that decision belongs to the Mother, we may voice our opinion but in the end she is the one who decides.” said Ina.

“Yep, the old hag controls everything here.” came a voice down the hall.

Ina’s face immediately twisted with rage as she turned to the voice and saw three familiar nuns, “Watch what you say about the Mother, Christina.” Seethed Ina.

The heroes then turned to a trio of nuns, mainly the blonde nun in the front who wore an altered outfit that had a short skirt instead, showing off her legs. Christina just laughed, “Eh don't worry about it Ina, so you chumps are our heroes huh?”

“That right miss,” said Lemillion as he attempted to forget everything and put on his best smile. “I know things haven’t been the best around here, but have no fear we heroes are here now to help.”

Christina blinked, “Huh?” She wasn’t alone as Ina gave the boy a raised eyebrow, the girl with red hair, Aria began to laugh at Mirio.

Libra adjusted her glasses, “You quit the fool boy.”

“Huh, what do you mean?” Lemillion asked, confused.

“But he is cute,” said Aria after laughing.

Ina let out a sigh, “What are you three doing here?”

“The Mother asked us to tag out with you,” said Christina, confusing Ina. Christina then took a few steps forward. “We’ll entertain and complete the tour for these guys while you guide our unexpected guest to the Mother.” Christina then looked up, “Come out, we have several people here that can detect lifeforms, you might be able to hide but your pets can’t.”

Izuku sighed and then regrew himself behind the heroes, landing on the ground getting everyone's attention, “Hi, everybody.” as he waved at the heroes.

“Ant-Man!?” yelled several heroes and Ina.

Endeavor glared at Ant-Man and took several steps forward before being stopped by Christina stepping in front of him and simply putting a hand on him, “Hold it, the Mother would like to speak with him.”

Endeavor glared at Christina and attempted to move past her but he couldn’t push against her and his feet began sliding against the floor. “What the hell?”

“That’s not going to work, Endeavor.” said Ant-Man, “These nuns aren’t pushovers, they know how to handle themselves in a fight, and from the look of it they just want to talk. So I suggest that’s all we do here.”

Hawks flew slightly off the ground to be eye level with Endeavor, “Yeah I think we should listen to Tic Tac here.”

“I agree,” said All Might, surprising a few, “I know you two have beef with each other, but now is not the time. We have the church to deal with for now.” He then turned his attention to the vigilante, “Ant-Man, I know you have no reason to trust me but I would like a word with you if you have the time.”

Izuku froze for a moment as he felt his heart stop for a second. ‘All Might wants to talk to me…Okay calm down Izuku, you’re Ant-Man and he’s the world's greatest superhero. So no fanboying and be on guard, All Might not try any tricks but the other heroes on the other hand, may try something.’ Ant-Man cleared his throat, “I wouldn’t mind have a talk with you sometime in the future but I do believe someone else wishes to speak with me first.” as he turned towards Ina who was checking her phone.

Ina put her phone away, “Yes, I just confirmed with the Mother, she would like to speak with you first in private Ant-Man.” Ina closed her eyes and opened black eyes, “So child I will give you this one quick warning: Behave.”

Ant-Man nodded, “Don’t worry, I’m not about to cross the Church, the whole reason I came here in the first place was to make sure that things went smoothly here and that no one started throwing hands.” Izuku then began to walk towards Ina, “I’m sure you can see how bad things could have gotten if such scenarios happened.”

Ina’s eyes turned back to her normal blue. “Very well then, I shall take you to the Mother, Christina, Libra, Aria, take our guests on a tour and don’t break anything.”

“Of course ma’am.” replied Libra.

“We’ll take good care of them,” said Aria.

“No promises,” said Christina as she started to walk down the hall. “Come on, follow me.”

~o~

Soon Izuku was walking alone down a hallway with Ina, he was quite nervous, ‘Does she remember me, I know for a little while she worked with my mom and I met her a few times, but she doesn’t know who I am right?’

“Have we met before?” asked Ina setting alarms off in Izuku’s head.

“Huh, what makes you say that?” asked Ant-Man trying to play it cool.

“We’re practically walking side by side, you know where we are going and you had little to no reaction when I activated my Eyes of Death. You knew I wasn’t going to use them on you and you are quite relaxed for someone who was just threatened by me.”

Ant-Man groaned slightly, “Okay I’m not even going to try and hide it but we have met before but that’s all I’m saying about it.”

“That's enough,” said Ina as she thought about it for a moment, “You must be related in some way to one of our sisters.” was all she spoke aloud but in her head she was creating a list and crossing off names, ‘To be familiar with me and the Cemetery he must be related to someone high in the food chain….or someone close to the Mother.’ She then looked over at Ant-Man, ‘He’s short, I don’t know an adult that size, maybe a child…no that would be ridiculous.’ Then a memory flashed in her head years ago when the Mother took an interest in a new sister, one who had a child. Inko and her son who was scared but his eyes, his eyes were already hardened by these streets but they had not lost their will. Ina’s eyes widened, ‘IZUKU!!!’

Ant-Man noticed the face change, “Is something wrong?”

Ina shook her head, “No, apologize.” she said quickly, ‘No, it can’t be…can it?’

‘She’s already figured it out, hasn’t she.’ Thought Izuku, ‘Ina was always smart, the Mother didn’t make her, her right hand for nothing. If she figured it out that quickly then I need to make sure this meeting with the Mother is quick and I have to make sure to never ever meet my mom as Ant-Man, she would figure it out in a second. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if she already suspects something is up. I should probably deal with that as soon as possible.’

Ina decided to set who Ant-Man was aside for now, “We are approaching the Mother, so be on your best behavior young man.”

“Of course, but may I ask why she is here and not at the Church?” asked Ant-Man.

“That is a stupid question, why would we meet an enemy at our own house,” said Ina, “Next time you want to throw me off, ask a better question.”

“Sorry, just trying to get a good gauge is all.”

“You’ve just narrowed my list.”

“Dammit.”

~o~

The heroes followed Christina through several halls. “Okay, where exactly are you leading us?” asked Hawks.

Christina didn’t answer as she continued to walk down another corridor, this one Night Eye noticed something different, “You leading us away from the Doe Hall and into a newer hall. I’ve started noticing more and more blank tiles.”

“That’s right,” said Aria in a chipper tone, “We’re now heading to a newer hall that is connected to one of our ceremony rooms.”

“Why?” asked Burnin.

“Good question, Christina?” asked Aria who expected her friend to answer. “Christina?”

Libra looked at her friend and could see that her face was calm and collected. “I see, you’ve already made your decision, we will support you.”

“Thanks,” said Christina.

Before anyone could ask they entered a wide open cavern that was spacious with several lights on the ceiling. In the far end of the room was a small podium and stage. “Is this place for funerals?” asked Tsukauchi.

“It is,” said Christina in a somber tone, “This is actually where my father’s funeral was held. He was the only one I was able to give a proper burial to. Had to have his body shipped all the way from the states.”

This made all the heroes confused, “Uhh, sorry but what does this-” began Kido before All Might raised a hand in front of him.

All Might stepped forward, “I’m sorry for your loss, young lady. I assume there is something you would like to say to us.”

Christina chuckled as she continued to face the podium, “You have no idea. You see I come from New York, I used to live a very comfortable life there, along with my parents and my older siblings, Sasha and Justin.”

Night Eye saw where this was going, literally, “All Might! She’s here for you!”

“What?” asked All Might as he got into a fighting stance.

Christina turned around and smiled at All Might, “I guess I should introduce myself, my name is Christina Hammer, the youngest child of the villain Titanium man and I am here in this Hell pit because of you All Might.”

~o~

Ina and Ant-Man soon found themselves in a small living room area where there was a couple of comfy chairs around a coffee table with a fresh pot of tea on it, but what got Izuku’s attention the most was an elderly woman with her eyes closed tending to a few flowers in the corner of the room. “Ah welcome back, young man. I have to say I am quite surprised to see you back here like this.” said The Mother.

This surprised both Ina and Ant-Man with the latter taking a quick breath, ‘I’m not falling for that one.’ Izuku took a few steps forward, “I’m sorry ma’am but I’m not sure what you mean?”

“HAHAHA, ahhhh, I knew you would make something of yourself boy but this was not at all what I saw coming,” said The Mother as she moved to take a seat, “Tell me does Inko know what you’ve been up to.”

The mention of his mother caused Izuku to stiffen slightly but enough for Ina to notice it, “You reacted…so it is you Izuku.”

“Fuck.” slipped Izuku as he took a seat.

“Language young man,” spoke up the Mother, sounding like a grandmother as she took her seat. “Now take off that helmet and have some tea with some old friends.”

Izuku thought for a moment and came to the conclusion there was no point at the moment and took the helmet off, “So what gave it away?”

The Mother chuckled, “You size, the sound of your footsteps and every now and then I check up on Inko using the quirk Shared Sight to see through her eyes and yours, but for some reason my quirk didn’t work on you like it is now.”

Shared Sight!” Said Izuku in surprise, ‘So that’s how she always knew everything she can just see into other people's eyes. Though it looks like the Pym particles are preventing her from seeing through my eyes, a double edge sword.’

Ina moved to be standing behind The Mother, “Izuku please tell me, you didn’t get this power from some quirk dealer, did you?”

“No this has nothing to do with a quirk at all.” said Izuku.

“Technology then,” said The Mother, “Now that does sound like you. Though I should warn you knowledge like that is quite dangerous and it might make things difficult if someone attempts to use a quirk on you like I did, it’s a bit of a give away. You don’t have to tell us more if you don’t want to, child, I just wanted to confirm that much.”

Izuku stared at the Mother for a moment, “Isn’t this the part where you blackmail me or something?”

“Perish the thought boy.” said The Mother which surprised Izuku and earned a raised eyebrow from Ina. “I won't lie, normally I would do that but I believe striking a deal would be far better.”

Izuku was now confused and could only think of one reason, “Does this have something to do with my mom?”

“Perhaps.”

“Okay, what the fuck,” yelled Izuku before calming himself, “Okay I know you have high hopes for my mom and all, but why? Why is my mom sooo important to you? She didn’t even work with you for nearly as long as some of the other sisters.”

“That is true,” said The Mother as she took a sip of her tea. “I see she never told you, did she?”

“Tell me what?” Suddenly the entire room vibrated a bit. “Goddammit.”

The Mother opened her eyes slightly revealing her void like eyes, “It seems she couldn’t hold herself back.”

Ina was now very angry, “Christina!”

All Might was sent flying backwards before hitting the wall with incredible force, ‘What the hell! What is going on, nothing I’m doing is working.’ He then looked up at Christina who was holding a massive hammer that was easily bigger than her.

Christina then spun the massive hammer above her head with ease before slamming it onto the ground causing the room to shake, “I told you, you can’t beat me like that.” She then lifted the hammer and pointed it at All Might, “I will show you a glimpse of the pain you have caused me.”

A/N: Sorry this one took so long, due to the holidays and family I've had to be away from my computer more than I expected recently. If I'm not able to make another chapter by the time I'll say it now, Happy Holidays everyone. I hope with the new years we can leave the bad behind us and have a better year this time around.
