Izuku the Stolen Ant Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Pain

“Justin Hammer the Third a man born and raised in wealth, he was a billionaire from the moment he was born and doubled his money when he took over the family company. That was helped by the fact he was working with supervillains and had them target his competitors. Though none of this was able to be confirmed, Justin Hammer always had way to weasel himself out of the courtroom, he even was able to keep any and all ties with the supervillains a secret, even their number one hire, Titanium Man. A cybernetic supervillain that was known to steal all sorts of tech from other companies with ease thanks to advanced armor, for a longtime he was unstoppable, until he vanished. One day Titanium Man just disappeared from the world, it wasn’t until several years later when a young All Might along with his first sidekick David Shield found a trail to Titanium Man, in the end it was revealed that Titanium Man was none other than Justin Hammer himself. Justin was arrested after a battle with All Might and the American hero Iron Man, he died behind bars and his company soon went under.” Explained Night Eye as he and the other heroes watched helplessly as All Might got hit again by Christina’s hammer, sending him across the room.

“That’s right,” said Aria before noticing Endeavor and his sidekicks punching the barrier again, “I suggest you stop,” As Aria gave him a smile, “My barriers are quite strong, not even Christina or Libra have been able to break them.” 

“So what’s your plan here,” asked Hawks while his feathers began poking around the barrier trying to find an opening, he also noticed Night Eye now whispering something to his intern Lemillion, “Just let your friend beat up All Might?”

“Christina will calm down eventually,” said Libra calmly as she looked at her book, “She just wants to get even, after her father died in prison, her mother was attacked and killed along with her brother. Her sister, hearing of a safe house here in the Trash Pit came here to seek shelter, but it was already compromised. The former board of Hammer industries didn’t like the idea of getting in trouble alongside Mr.Hammer so they went full scorched earth, taking out anything and anyone that could lead back to them including the Hammer family.”

“Then why is she pissed at All Might,” asked Burnin, “Shouldn’t she be after those businessmen.”

“ENOUGH!” roared All Might as he dashed at Christina with a fist raised high, “Louisiana Smash!” Christina didn’t even flinch as she raised her hand catching the fist stopping the attack, “What!?” yelled All Might in complete shock as this girl half his size stopped his attack. He was quickly brought back as he saw her swing her massive hammer at him. All Might raised his free hand, stopping the hammer. “Look I know you are angry at me for arresting your father but he had committed several crimes, he was a villain.”

“I KNOW THAT!” yelled Christina as she pushed All Might away, “But he was retired!” Her words caused All Might to halt, “I know my father did a lot of evil shit, but he stopped when he and my mom got together, for nearly twenty years he had done nothing, hurt nobody. You weren’t even after him, you guys were looking for a completely different villain. So why?” Christina looked at All Might with tears running down her face, “Why couldn’t you have left us alone?”

All Might couldn’t help but feel guilty as he looked at the young woman crying in front of him, “I…”

“My family didn’t need to die, I didn’t need to be tossed here in this hell pit,” yelled Christina before pointing her hammer at All Might, “Was it all just glory for you? You just wanted to be the hero, is that it? Well you got your wish and now my family is dead. BECAUSE OF YOU!!!” Christina then jumped at All Might.

All Might began to dodge backwards, ‘I don’t think I can calm her down and everytime I try hitting her she stops it, it’s clear her power allows her to somehow nullify my strength.’ He then glances over at the other who were trapped in a barrier, ‘And I don’t know what the other two will do with my friends. I’m in a real bind here.’ All Might then noticed someone disappeared, “Huh?”

Suddenly Lemillion popped out from the ground behind Christina, “CHRISTINA!” yelled Aria.

Christina turned slightly to see Lemillion about to grab her, ‘I got her!’ Thought Lemillion.

“Don’t you dare,” said Libra as she took a page from her book and tossed it, the page then burst in a puff of smoke before suddenly a park bench was flung right at Lemillion forcing him to permeate through the bench. 

‘What was that?’ Wondered Lemillion before he saw Libra reach back down into her book before pulling out a glock and quickly started firing at Lemillion.

Libra fired two shots before Lemillion disappeared into the ground leaving two bullet holes in the wall. “Where’d he go?”

Suddenly Christina felt something grab her arm, “Hey?”

Everyone then turned to see Christina’s arm being pulled backwards as Ant-Man grew from behind Christina putting her in a hold and forcing her to the ground. “Okay, let’s all calm down here.”

“Ant-Man!” yelled half of the room.

“That’s enough!” said Ina sternly followed by The Mother, “Aria let them go now!”

“Okay,” said Aria as she dropped the barrier.

The mother walked over to Christina who kept her face down, “Christina, I know you hurt but won’t fix anything, it won’t make you feel better.”

“I know.” said Chrisitna simply with her head still facing the ground.

The Mother sighed and signaled Ant-Man and Christina to get up, “We will discuss your punishment later.” As Ant-Man helped Christina up, revealing her red, “For now apologize to everyone.”

Both Libra and Aria walked up to Christina. Libra raised her book and lightly hit Christina with it, “You lost.” she said simply.

“Sorry,” said Christina.

“It’s okay.” said Aria as she gave her a hug. “If you want we can try again later.”

“Not happening,” Everyone turned to Endeavor and his sidekicks who were ready for a fight, “I’m done playing around with all of you-”

Everyone froze as they felt the hands of death brush along them, everyone slowly turned to the Mother who had her eyes opened, showing the void of death. “I highly recommend you rethink that offer, I have no issues adding more graves.”

“Oh shit.” said Izuku under his helmet, ‘This is not going well.’

Outside Kenta was getting worried as he checked his phone for any notifications, “He’s been down there a while.” said Kenta.

Hanah and Sarah, who were still wandering around the car in their prototype shrinking suits looked up at Kenta. “You just need to relax,” said Sarah, “I’m sure Izuku will be fine.”

“Yeah,” agreed Hanah, “Izuku has been in way worse situations than this before. He is probably just being extra careful and taking his time with the Church and all.”

“I guess,” said Kenta in a sad tone. “I just don’t like sitting around doing nothing.”

The two sisters looked at each other for a moment before an idea popped in their heads, “What if you helped us out?”

“Huh?”

Sarah hopped up to the dashboard, “Yeah, how about you time us.” She then pointed to the alleyway they were parked next to. “See that fire escape in that alleyway, how about you time us to see how fast we can go from your car to the fire escape and back.”

Kenta thought about it for a moment before shrugging, “Okay, I can do that.”

“Sweet,” said Sarah before turning to her sister, “You ready?”

“Of course,” said Hanah before giving her sister a thumbs up before turning to Kenta. “Open the window.”

“Alright,” said Kenta as he pressed the button lowering the shotgun window, “Ready….Set….GO!” The two tiny sisters jumped out of the car window and began their tiny, yet long race down the alley. Seeing this Kenta realized something, “If they’re just running then this might take a while.” Unfortunately due to this Kenta had no idea that something was coming.

“Okay let’s all just be nice and calm down,” said Ant-Man, “The heroes won’t do anything stupid, I mean really really fucking stupid and the Nuns won’t have to damage any of their pretty nails trying to dig the heroes graves.” 

This made everyone in the room turn to him, giving him deadpan looks, Ina groaned, “You stay out of this.”

“She’s right,” said Endeavor who still had his flames ready, “Once we’re done with them you are next.”

“That won’t happen dumbass, because you’ve clearly forgotten the part where these ladies can kill you with a fucking glance.” Reminded Ant-Man, “That is also why I know for a fact that if they wanted you idiots dead, your corpses would already be on the ground.”

All Might wiped the blood from his lip, “Is that true,” he asked Christina, “Did you not want to kill me?”

Christina was silent for a moment before getting frustrated, “I don’t know….I do….somewhat…It’s all complicated, but he’s right if I just wanted you straight up dead I could have just activated the death eyes and killed you immediately. I guess I just really wanted to kick your ass a little bit. You may not have been the one to pull the trigger but without a doubt you are the reason my family is dead.”

All Might was silent for a moment as he thought things over, “I understand, I honestly never knew what happened after I arrested Justin Hammer, the only thing I knew was that he passed away in prison I had no idea about what happened to your family. For that I am truly sorry, I had no idea what would have become of your family, I am sorry for what happened to them.” Giving her a sincere bow of apology. 

Christina gave a blank stare at All Might, “Goddammit, Izuku was right, I do find it hard to hate you.”

Izuku flinched at the mention of his name especially as the temperature in the room began to rise. “Izuku Midoriya.” Seethed Endeavor as his flames started to turn blue in rage and he took a glance at Ant-Man.

“Huh?” Said a majority of the room, now confused by Endeavor anger.

“How do you know that brat?” asked Endeavor his voice filled with anger as he focused on the three young women. The Mother and Ina both glanced at Izuku who gave a small head shake. 

“Izuku is a really smart kid,” said Aria with a smile, “It was thanks to him and Libra I was able to get my G.E.B.”

“G.E.D, Aria,” corrected Libra as she adjusted her glasses, “Izuku, is a smart kid, he is one of only a few students to actually be able to get into college from Saint Grace. He’s also an exceptional chess player.”

“He’s a scary smart kid, I babysat him once years ago, but to be honest in the end I don’t know who was watching who.” Admitted Christina was a little embarrassed. “Looking back it makes a lot of sense that he’s helping out Ghost now.”

“WHAT!” shouted Night Eye in a rare moment of surprise.

‘CHRISTINA YOU BITCH!! SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!!’ Shouted Izuku in his head, “Uh I believe we are getting off topic here.”

“Ant-Man is right,” said The Mother, “We have more important matters we need to discuss.”

“That’s plenty,” said Endeavor with a creepy smile, “Kido, when we’re out of here, request a warrant of arrest for Izuku Midoriya.”

“Uuuh sir…” Kido was trying to think of something to say.

“Wait, who exactly is this Izuku kid?” asked Hawks.

Burnin looked a little nervous, “Sir, are you sure that is a good idea, won’t your daughter get angry at you for trying to arrest her boyfriend.”

Ant-Man face palmed his helmet causing a loud noise and everyone to look at him. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

“I agree with Ant-Man,” said Hawks, “You shouldn’t be arresting your daughter's boyfriend.” It was good Izuku was wearing a helmet as his eye began to start twitching.

“He is working with a known vigilante, I have full right to arrest him,” stated Endeavor, “And he’s not dating my daughter.”

“Sir, may I remind you your daughter is a grown woman,” said Burnin feeling the need to stand up for Fuyumi.

“She’s still living under my roof.”

“Izuku is fucking Endeavour’s daughter,” said Christina, “Nice.” Endeavour gave Christina a death glare but she was unfazed by it. Though Endeavour was now so angry he wasn’t paying any attention to Ant-Man.

“You shouldn’t be so angry, Endeavour. Izuku is a fine partner, out of everyone in this hell pit he was the one with the best chances to make something of himself,” said Libra, complimenting him.

‘Thank you Libra.’ Thought Izuku.

 “He’ll most likely become some sort of corporate overlord with a mistress or two on the side, but I doubt he will leave your daughter on the streets.”

‘LIBRA! WHAT THE FUCK!’ yelled Izuku in his head.

Endeavor’s flames were now blue, “I’ll murder that brat.”

“He and his mom do make good ramen though.” said Aria as she imagined getting some ramen.

This one made Izuku slightly confused, ‘When did these guys ever come by the ramen shop?’ He wondered as he never remembered seeing them there. 

“Endeavour, stop.” ordered Night Eye, “One you weren’t even on the Ghost case and two this is dragging out too long for a good gag.”

‘Gag?’ Thought a majority of the room.

“We need to discuss the Church and how exactly we are going to move forward with them.”

“You will have our full cooperation,” said the Mother, “As long as you don’t arrest any of us and all charges are dropped against all of us. We will cooperate, especially since you idiots have a lot more problems to deal with then just us.” As the Mother’s eyes opened looking at each of them, “This place is filled with more demons than you realized, smart ones that are truly evil. Trust me when I tell you, you are in for a tough fight, I’ve tried fighting these people before and barely gained any ground over the years.”

“Aren’t you incharge of this place?” asked Lemillion.

“It is because of the Mother, that so many people are still alive today, boy.” said Ina, “The church may not be exactly good, but it’s thanks to us that this place isn’t in worse condition.”

“It’s still a shit hole.” said Ant-Man, “But as someone who was raised here, I know for damn fact my family would have died years ago if it wasn’t for the church. I’m sure those of you who have spent time here in the Trash Pit would agree that while the Church isn’t exactly full of Saints, Christina.”

Christina flipped him off, “Fuck you.”

“The Church has done a lot of good for the civilians here. So if you truly wish to help the citizens of the Trash Pit, please help the Church, don’t stomp them out, steer them on the right path. I think you guys can do that, I mean without hurting each other much.”

“Why are you here?” asked Libra, “You’re not a part of either group here.”

“I like peace and don’t want to see this place turn to hell without your death glare keeping the idiots in check.” admitted Ant-Man.

“That death glare quirk…” said All Might wanting to ask.

“That quirk is mine,” admitted The Mother, “I’ll make my tale quick. I was born with the quirk. Upon my birth my quirk caused the death of everyone around me, my parents, the doctors, the nurses. Everyone was scared of me and soon I found myself being raised by the local church, even though the head nun was fine having me around the rest not so much, so a few of them found a way to get rid of me, when I reached adulthood they shipped out to a small church to try and help to bring it back from the brink of collapse, that church was here on the edge of the pit. I tried to help like I should have but the gangs didn't exactly agree with me and eventually I had to unleash my power to keep them at bay. I eventually found a young man who had the ability to copy quicks and give them to others, in exchange for protecting him from those who wanted his power. That was the beginning of what became known as the church. My power is what all the nuns share, it has nothing to do with that man. I assure you if I ever got the chance to kill that man I would, I want nothing to do with that monster.”

This made the heroes slightly confused and wonder what their next move should be, some of them wanted to ask All Might what she was talking about, instead the first one to speak was Night Eye, “An arrangement could be made, not only for you but for Ant-Man as well.”

“Huh!?”

“WHAT!” roared Endeavour.

Night Eye looked directly at Ant-Man, “It is quite clear that you care about the people here and want to help. The same can be said for the church, right now our best course of action would be to try and talk things out.”

“Night Eye is right,” said All Might, “I understand everyone here has some sort of past but who doesn’t that doesn’t mean you can’t turn your life around. So what do you say Ant-Man, would you like to work with us?” 

All Might's words stunned Izuku as he didn’t know what to say. The child inside of him that was a die hard All Might fan was squealing with joy at the thought of working with his hero.

All Might was hoping for a quicker response but unbeknownst to him Izuku was too starstruck to respond quick enough that All Might knew he had to keep the conversation going in hopes to get the others on board. “That also goes for the rest of you as well.” as he turned to Christina, “I’m sure with strength like that you could easily become a great hero.”

Christina blinked in confusion, “ME!? A hero?”

“Unlikely,” said Libra bluntly, “Christina’s quirk is very good and quite versatile but personality wise she is lazy, hard headed and would most likely go overboard if you gave her a heavier weapon.”

“Gee thanks for the void of confidence, Libra.” said Christina slightly annoyed but knew she couldn’t argue with her friend.

“Heavier weapon?” wondered Lemillion, “What does that have to do with your quirk?” He asked, trying to be friendly.

Christina held out her palm, “My quirk is called Feather Grip, pretty much anything in my hands weighs nothing to me, I’m not actually strong per say, I can just swing my hammer really fast and it’s mass does the rest. I can also use it to cancel out the forces thrown at me, like All Might’s punches. I just put up my hands and all the force behind the punch pretty much disappears, what remains gets canceled out when I touch him making his weight zero and he simply pushes himself backwards.”

“I get it,” said Endeavour, “When you stopped me from confronting Ant-Man, you placed your hand on my chest and I couldn’t step any further.”

“I still don’t get it,” said Hawks as he thought about it, “Wait, that still doesn’t make sense.”

“Well that’s the best I can do.” admitted Christina, “Libra and Izuku explained it to me once but I didn’t really understand it at all.”

Libra sighed, “Your quirk allows you to nullify weight upon touching the weight of the object but judging by how it works it also affects the mass. In reality it should be more along the lines of weight nullification.” Both of the girls, along with most of the heroes, gave Libra a confused look. “Nevermind.”

“I’ll stick with just calling it Feather Grip.” said Christina who gave up a long time ago to understand her power.

“It’s far cuter anyway.” added Aria.

“The title of your quirk doesn’t matter,” said All Might, “What matters is how you use it and I believe all of you can use your gifts for the greater good and I believe we should give you that chance.”

“Are you kidding me, All Might.” asked Endeavour, “That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. These people are criminals and have been operating in the worst place in the entire country, we should be arresting all of them.”

Ina sighed, ‘Maybe I should have left this idiot dead.’ Ina stepped between the group. “Okay let’s all calm down, we are not going to get any further like this-” suddenly the whole area shook as some sort of explosion happened above them, “What was that?”

“Wasn’t me,” said Christina quickly with her hands in the air.

All Might put a hand to his ear, “Hey? What’s going on up there?”

Before he got an answer Izuku called himself, “Hey wha-....Whoa whoa slow down, what happened….WHAT!?”

(A Few Minutes earlier)

Kenta tried his best to look down the alley to find the two tiny people running but he was finding it very difficult, “Man, no wonder Ant-Man is such a threat, he’s pretty much invisible. Hard to fight someone you can’t see coming.” Kenta then noticed something in the reflection of the window and turned around and came face to face with a girl her recognized from the footage of Izuku fighting, ‘That’s the wolverine chick, Kazuri.’

Kazuri stood outside of the car looking right at Kenta before taking a deep breath, “Found it.” said Kazuri. In one swift motion she punched through the window of Kenta’s car and grabbed him and then pulled him from the car with ease.

Kenta landed with a hard thud but he quickly scrambled to his feet as he looked back to Kazuri smelling the inside of his car. “Oh shit.”

“He’s not Ant-Man but Ant-Man has been in this car.” stated Kazuri.

“Good enough,” said a voice right behind Kenta, “We’ll take him.” Kenta immediately spun on his heel and blindly threw a punch at the person behind him. Camo caught the fist before punching her free hand into Kenta’s gut. “Not bad, that had quite a bit of power in that punch.” said Camo before grabbing Kenta by the back of his coat and tossing him inside an opened van.

“SHIT!” yelled Kenta as he quickly tried get to his feet and jump out of the van, but before he could jump a large hand reached out and grabbed the back of his head, Kenta tried to turn his head a bit to see who it was, “Rad Volt!?”

Rad Volt smiled, “Ah it’s always nice to get some recognition. Take a nap brat.”

Kenta then felt a massive amount of voltage enter his body. “AAAAAAHHHHHH!” he screamed before quickly blacking out.

Sarah and Hanah both stopped and turned back at the car as they heard the sound of breaking glass, they both watched as Kenta was thrown into the back of a van and electrocuted by Rad Volts. “KENTA!” they both yelled. 

Both Sarah and Hanah began rushing back, “BENTA, BENTA!” called Hanah over the radio.

“What’s up?” asked Benta over the radio, “Izuku is still fine, he’s just dealing with the heroes at the moment.”
“KENTA’S BEEN KIDNAPPED!” Yelled Sarah.

“WHAT?!” yelled Benta.

Kazuri could have sworn she heard something when she decided to look up at the roofs and saw someone running across the rooftop. “We need to move, my mother is here.”

Camo and the other villains looked up to see Wolverine running towards them. “She has our scent, we need to move. Everyone into the van, let’s go.” 

Rad Volt looked out of the van before firing a large energy bolt at Wolverine, Wolverine dodged the massive energy bolt with a flip but the bolt of energy destroyed the top part of the roof she was running across forcing her to jump to the next building before the building she was on fell apart to the street below. “Damn.” 

“Forget it, let’s move.” Camo then quickly looked at Kazuri glaring at her mother, “Come on Kazuri.” she ordered and Kazuri followed as she jumped into the van before it sped off.

“She’s going to follow us.” stated Rad Volt as he looked out the window.

“We’ll lose her.” said Camo, “We’ve been driving these streets longer than she has.” As Camo began to drive down several back streets. “Call Timebomb and give him an update on our newly acquired lead.”

Lady Aka was in the middle of a meeting when she saw her phone ringing, “One moment,” She said as she began to ignore the man who she was currently talking to, “Hello, Timebomb.”

“Hello Lady Aka,” said Timebomb over the phone, “I wanted to let you know we have something on Ant-Man, we’ve captured a friend of his.”

“Excellent work Timebomb. Is the bird singing?”

“We’ve only had him for less than an hour and I can tell he was born in the trash pit.”

“So he’s going to be a tough nut to crack,” Lady Aka thought for a moment before her eyes snapped to the men she was having a meeting with. “I maybe able to get you some help, keep the man alive until then.”

“Understood ma’am.” 

Lady Aka then ended the call before returning her attention to the men in the room. “Chisaki, my dear, how would you like to earn some credit.”

Overhaul raised an eyebrow while his men looked like they were ready to kill the woman, but he knew that she had guards watching and they weren’t no pushovers. “What job are you talking about and what credit are we going to get?”

“Credit towards a new lab,” said Lady Aka earning a surprised looked from Overhauls men as the man himself remained unfazed, “Oh please, you can’t exactly move in this area without me knowing about it and your not the only one try to collect tech from the organizations that are fleeing with their tails between their legs. You have some science project and you need equipment, I can get that for you with ease.”

Overhaul didn’t say anything at first before asking something simple, “The job?”

“My team has a man captured and we need him to talk. You have a man that can make that happen and if not I know you yourself can repair the man after my team breaks him a few times.”

“Sounds dirty.”

Lady Aka scoffed, “Your hands aren’t clean boy, no matter how much you try to wash them, you’ll never get the filth off. Do we have a deal or not?”

Overhaul thought for a moment before snapping his fingers causing his underlying Chronos to step forward. “Give her the list of equipment we need and clear my schedule for the rest of the day, me and Shin will try and make this quick.”

Lady Aka smiled, “I knew we could come to some form of agreement, boy.”

Overhaul gave Lady Aka a small glare. “Quite calling me boy.”

“No,” she said quickly, “You’re not there yet, you haven’t lived up to your predecessor yet, but keep it up and you just might be able to make him proud. Now get to work, the man won’t torture himself.”

Overhaul was very annoyed with the lack of respect he was being given and it was clear that his men didn’t like neither but he knew he was in no position to try anything, he’d been in the Trash Pit long enough to hear of the stories and it took only a few moments with the woman to believe all of them. “Very well it shall be done.” said Overhaul as he stood up to leave, “But we are not done yet, we have much more to discuss.” His words only caused her to smirk.

Lady Aka watched as he left. “What a cute child, he might be of more use than I thought.”
