Yin Yang Tigers Chapter 4

Chapter 4: The Help

Izuku was trying his best not to bounce in his seat, as his parents drove to his new sensei's address, after a lengthy talk of the pro and cons of Izuku training under Fei and being homeschooled, they agreed. To be honest Izuku was actually happy to be out of school, he knew it meant he would have to work hard being homeschooled but it meant he didn't need to be around anyone else. Now they were on their way to his new dojo.

They soon found themselves in a small parking lot in front of a small building not too far from the beach, just outside admiring the building as his sensei. "Sensei!" 

Fei turned to see the Midoriya's "Ah welcome, Midoriyas, I hope it wasn't too much of a drive to get here."

"Not at all," said Inko with a smile, "In fact this place is within walking distance."

"Yeah, if i had known it was so close I think we would have just walked," said Hisashi as he looked at the building. "Is this place yours?"

"Apparently it is now," said Fei, scratching the back of his head, "Thanks to my friend Hideki, he was able to set this place up for us, rather quickly."

"It wasn't hard really," they all turned to see Hideki in his usual business suit walking out of the building followed by his assistant. "This place had been unused for a while, I was able to get it for a good price. My name is Hideki Hado at your service."

Hisashi's mouth went wide open, "Wait, you mean Hado as in Hado industries."

"The one and only," said Hideki with a smile.

"Wait, isn't Hado industries a big name when it comes to specialized gear?" asked Inko, now just as surprised as her husband, "How do you two know each other?"

"Fei here saved my life back in Hong Kong, I took a semester there in college when a group of criminals attacked, Fei saved me and I rewarded him with a round of drinks, the rest is history."

Fei put a hand on Hideki's shoulder, "He's been a big help, but I got to be honest I wasn't expecting him to remodel a whole building for us."

"Remodel?" repeated the Midoriyas a bit surprised.

"Of course," said Hideki as he adjusted his glasses, "From a business perspective I find this as a great opportunity, I have seen first hand what Fei and his sensei can do and I look forward to seeing what you can do young man." as he looked down at Izuku.

"WOOF!"

"Huh?!" The group looked over to see a massive dog running around with a smaller dog and a child riding on its back.

"Hi dad," waved the small girl.

"NEJIRE!" yelled Hideki, "Don't ride the dog like a horse." as he ran after his daughter as he went into worried dad mode causing Fei to laugh while the others just chuckled a bit. "Nejire sweetie be careful, you're not even wearing a helmet." as he pulled her off the dog and onto the ground.

"Sorry dad," said little Nejire before she noticed Izuku, she then immediately activated her quirk and floated over to Izuku and invaded his personal space, "Hi I'm Nejire, who are you?"

Izuku went red with how close she was. "Uh, hi I'm Izuku." 

"These are my new doggies, this Oreo my newfoundland, he's called Oreo because of his black fur and white belly," she then reached out and grabbed the corgi, "This is Cinnamon, because his fur reminds me of cinnamon, what to hold him, he's super fluffy."

"Uhhhhh..." Izuku had no idea how to respond to this, she spoke so fast and was actually talking to him, most kids avoided him so he had no idea what to do so he just decided to pet the corgi's head, "Good dog."

Hideki gave an exhausted sigh, "Excuse my Daughter, she can be...quite energetic."

"Like a humanoid energizer bunny." Commented Fei.

Izuku eyed Nejire who was wearing a blue dress and matching blue shoes, but what really got his attention was the swirls of energy around her feet. "Oh I get it, your quirk allows you to control that energy and you're using it to fly."

Nejire quickly nodded, "Yep, that's right, hey what's your quirk?"

Izuku immediately felt a pinch of dread in his stomach, his parents looked nervous for a moment but Izuku decided to tell the truth, "Well...I'm quirkless."

Nejire tilted her head, "Quirkless?" then a light bulb turned on above her head, "Oh I get it, this place is to train you, so uncle Fei can turn you into a kung fu ninja master." she said while striking a karate pose.

"Not exactly," said Fei, "But close enough I suppose."

Izuku for once was happy that there was someone who didn't look down on him for not having a quirk and beamed a smile at Nejire, "Yep, I'm going to train hard and become a hero someday."

Nejire gasped, "You too, I'm also working hard to become a hero, oh maybe we will go to school together someday."

"That might be possible," said Hideki as he thought it over, "Though if I recall correctly Izuku is only 7 and you're 9, so maybe but briefly."

"Wait, you're younger than me?" asked Nejire.

Izuku nodded, "It seems so."

Nejire then puffed out her chest, "Then I'll be the best Senpai ever."

"Then how about we begin with a tour of the dojo." suggested Hideki.

"Lead the way my friend." said Fei as they all followed Hideki into the building, once inside everyone was amazed by the remodeled dojo, it had everything they needed equipment new and old and even a corner that looked like a small office, "Wow this is incredible, Hideki, this is even better than what I had even thought of."

"I spared no expense," said Hideki with a smile, "The dojo is fully equipped, working showers, kitchen and your new apartment is in the back."

"New apartment?" asked Fei, "Wait am I going to be living here?"

"Of course, were you expecting to live on my couch the entire time?"

"No, I was going to find an apartment."

"You say that, but what I hear is you're going to be living on a park bench until the police have to arrest you and I have to bail you out...again."

Fei tried his best to look embarrassed, "I've been traveling around the world, I've gotten used to sleeping in odd places."

"Is that why you always sleep on the couch when you come over?" asked Nejire.

"Well your father won't let me sleep in a tree."

Hideki signed before turning towards the Midoriyas, "He's a little odd but I can say with absolute confidence Izuku is in good hands."

"Come on, Izuku," said Fei, "We're going to be spending quite a bit of time here so we might as well get familiar with it."

"Right," said Izuku as he followed along with his parents.

"Excuse me sir."

Hideki turned to his assistant, "Yes Samson, what is it?"

His assistant leaned in close for a whisper, "Are you sure you should be spending this amount of cash on a quirkless guy and his student. The more I look at the guy the more he just seems crazy to me."

Hideki had to force himself not to roll his eyes, 'This is the downside of having multiple assistants, the ones I use for the public have no idea about the underworld or what Fei is truly capable of, if he knew he would be more terrified than I was the first day we met.' Hideki waved his assistant off, "Don't worry, you'll see soon why this is a valuable investment." 

"Hideki." called Fei as he walked, "Sorry if I'm interrupting but I was wondering about the help I asked for?"

"Ah yes, the healer."

"Healer?" asked Inko.

"Yep, I thought it would be the best way to put you all at ease if I was able to get a healer that would stick around to help us just in case something were to happen," explained Fei "I asked Hideki here if he could find one."

"I tried to call an old classmate of ours from HKU, his family is filled with people with healing quirks, he was unable to make it himself as he is currently overseas but he did say his cousin has made a small business of using her quirk and she is available." Explained Hideki, "I haven't spoken with her just yet but she should be here shortly."

"Excellent with a healer around we can move at a steady pace," said Fei.

"That's amazing," commented Inko, "I know I'd feel a lot better knowing there was someone around to help out Izuku." Izuku nodded in agreement.

Hisashi gave a slight hum of disapproval, "Still, this feels too amazing to be honest, I feel like something should have happened by now."

Suddenly the door opened and everyone turned to the door, "Ah welcome, you must be....the ....healer....,what the?" said Fei as everyone got a good look at the newcomer.

"Yep, that should do it." said Hisashi as he blushed slightly while trying to look away while his wife tried to cover Izuku's eyes.

Samson's eyes went wide while Hideki's face turned to stone while his daughter smiled and pointed at the girl, "Hey dad it's a nurse."

"Not just any nurse," said the girl. She wore a nurse outfit that was definitely not official, high heels, a bit of makeup and her blonde hair was tied neatly in a bun, all in all she looked more like a cosplayer than an actual nurse. "I'm your new personal cute Nurse Kokomi Hanafusa." said Kokomi while she struck a pose while holding up a peace sign while the other hand held up her phone while she took a selfie.

Fei felt the sweat drop on his head grow bigger, "Uh why are you wearing that?"

"Clients pay more for eye candy and my 50k followers agree." as she took another selfie.

Fei was nervous about the answer to the question he was about to ask but he needed it answered, "How old are you?"

"14."

Everyone's eyes went wide as Fei turned back to the group, "HIDEKI!!"

Hideki was still stone faced as he pulled out his phone and waited while it rang, when it was picked up his face turned to that of pure rage, "HANAFUSA!!!....Yes she's right here...yes she's wearing a nurse outfit."

"You look pretty," said Nejire to Kokomi.

"Ah thanks." as she pulled Nejire in and took a picture or the two of them. "This one's on the house, a cute girl like you could have as many followers as me if you wanted."

"Really?" Nejire then turned to her father, "Hey dad can I-"

"Absolutely not!" yelled Hideki before bringing his attention back to the phone, he then walked over to the Midoriya's and handed the phone over to Inko, “he would like to talk to you."

"Me?" asked Inko before taking the phone, "Hello?"

"PLEASE SAVE MY COUSIN!!" yelled the man over the phone nearly causing Inko to be deaf in one ear.

Inko fumbled with the phone, almost dropping it before using her quirk to catch it, in doing so accidentally turning on the speaker. "What?"

The man on the phone sighed, "I'm sorry but can you please be a good role model for my cousin. You see her mom passed away when she was young and her dad has gotten super distant in the past few years and our family as a whole just discovered her social media and found out she's been letting perverts on the internet have pictures of her for the past two years. We've all have been really worried but a majority of us are busy or have just given up so when Hideki told me about you guys I was wondering if it might be possible if you could talk to her or something, we're all just a bit worried about her."

"I'm fine," said Kokomi with a deadpan stare at the phone, "I already have half the athletes at my school protecting me and with my subscribers I make 30000 yen a month."

"Seriously!" said Hisashi wide eyed, "That's nearly as much as I make."

"See cous, I'm making nearly the same amount as a businessman, so stop worrying, with my amazing quirk and cute looks I'll retire before my first wrinkle." countered Kokomi with confidence.

Inko looked at Kokomi with pity in her eyes, "Oh sweetie." she then took a deep breath and held the phone up, "I'll do my best to help your cousin, she is helping my son after all."

"Thank you."

Kokomi gave the phone an exhausted look, "Whatever as long as I get paid, speaking of which, where is my patient?"

"Right here." said Izuku as he raised his hand, "Hi I'm Izuku."

Kokomi gave him a big bright smile as she took his hands, "Hi cutie, I'm your new nurse Kokomi, now before we work out payment and all of those details you really don't need to worry about let me explain my quirk." she held out her hand as a small needle from her palm, "My quirk allows me to produce a super healing potion from the needles in my palms to heal any injuries you have, it even allows me to get a good read on your body."

Izuku's eyes started sparkling. "Wow cool."

"Yep, it sure is, watch with a tiny prick," she took the needle and stabbed the back of his hand, "I can tell you all sorts of information about yourself even..." Kokomi went silent for a second before blinking, she took out her needle and examined it for a moment before reinserting it, "Uh what is your quirk?"

"I'm quirkless."

"Oh," Kokomi then looked up at Fei, "You're his sensei right?"

"Yes, and for your information I'm quirkless as well." said Fei in a neutral tone as he saw where this was going.

Kokomi stood up and walked over to Hideki and whispered "Hey Mr. moneybags, what's the deal here, why are you investing your time into these two?"

Hideki leaned back a bit, uncomfortable talking to someone so young in such an outfit. "One I'm not taking advice from jail bait and two why are you asking me, Fei's the one that's going to be paying you."

Kokomi turned to Fei, "And how are you going to be paying me, even with my friends and family discount, I'm still a bit pricey."

Fei shrugged, "I can just fish it from the ocean."

Everyone blinked it in confusion as a few of them wondered if he was literally going to pay her in fish. "What?"

"Come on, I'll show you." said Fei as he walked out.

Hideki then followed, "Come on, none of you are going to want to miss this."

Soon they found themselves at the beach watching as Fei was doing some stretches. "Okay, what exactly is he going to do?" asked Hisashi.

"It's how he and his sensei made money on their travels, they would draw it from the ocean," explained Hideki. "Literally."

"I'm not the biggest fan of fish," said Kokomi.

"Good," said Fei as he stood up and held his hand out for Kokomi, "Double check I'm quirkless."

Kokomi was still confused but did as she was asked, "Yep 100 percent quirkless."

Fei chuckled a little, "Now then watch and be amazed at the power of a quirkless man." as he turned towards the water and got down in a sprinter position. "Give me a countdown."

"Okay," said Nejire quickly as she floated near Fei, "Ready Uncle Fei, on your mark, get set, GO!!!"

In a split second Fei disappeared as the sand under his feet burst upward from the sheer force of his take off, "WHAT THE?!!" asked Samson as he couldn't believe what he just saw.

They all quickly looked for Fei as they saw him running over the ocean, "HE'S RUNNING ON WATER!!!???" yelled Kokomi with an open jaw.

"COOL!" yelled Nejire and Izuku with Izuku have stars in his eyes.

When Fei was nearly out of sight he jumped in the air and yelled, "Eat your heart out Retsu." before diving into the ocean.

"What just happened?" asked Inko who couldn't believe what she just saw.

"He just ran on the water for several kilometers," said Hiashi as he too was blown away by the feat, "And then yelled some name before diving in the ocean."

"In the early 21st century a man successfully crossed a river by running across it." explained Hideki, "That was over two hundred years ago, even without a quirk humanity is still evolving, with the right training anyone can do what he just did. Izuku," as he got the boy's attention, "Do you think one day you'll be able to do that?"

Izuku gave him a big smile with eyes filled with confidence, "Yes sir."

Hideki smiled, "Then I look forward to seeing it."

"Oh you think Uncle Fei will teach the finger exploder trick." asked Nejire.

"Finger exploder trick?" asked Izuku.

"In do time I'm sure Fei will show you his other tricks and they put this running on water trick to shame," said Hideki before checking his watch, "We got about oh I'd say 40 minutes before Fei comes back, who's up for pizza?"

(35 minutes later) 

They all watched as Fei came out of the water holding a net in one hand as he pulled a makeshift sled behind that had several boxes, "Hey everyone what'd I miss?"

"Hi uncle Fei," Nejire waved while holding a plate, "We got pizza."

"YOU GUYS GOT PIZZA WITHOUT ME!" he shouted with tears in his eyes, "Hideki you traitor."

Hideki held out a pizza, "Relax would you, I saved you half a pie for yourself."

"Alright Hideki, you're the best." yelled Fei as he ran over and took a slice of pizza. "Ah nothing beats a good slice of pizza after a long swim.

"He really likes pizza." stated Inko causing the Hados to nod in agreement.

"So Fei, what'd you grab this time?" asked Hideki as he walked over to one of the boxes.

Fei swallowed his bite of Pizza, "Not entirely sure, I was in a rush to get back so didn't check them, but they came from that sunken ship 20 km offshore."

"20kms!" said Hisashi as he did the math, "You were moving a kilometer a minute!"

"I suppose so," as Fei did the math in his head, "Ten minutes to get there a few more to find a net from the sunken fishing boat that wasn't too far away and to make the sled, and then another ten to twelve minutes bringing it back."

Hideki used his keys to cut open one of the boxes, "Oh now this is interesting, I might not have had to go so far if I knew you were going to grab these."

Samson looked into the box, "Holy shit, these are Mividias Omega graphics cards, these are old models but they're still going for over a 100000 yen per unit."

"WHAT!!!??"

"Are all of these boxes filled with graphics cards?" asked Samson

"I think so." said Fei as he ate his pizza.

"You have 18 boxes here, each is filled with five each, that means..."

"9.5 million yen." Finished Hisashi as he looked at the boxes in amazement.

"You can't sell them at full price since you pulled them from the ocean but doubt you'd get anything less than 5 million for them." Pointed out Hideki.

"Is this how you get money?" asked Izuku.

"Oh yeah, whenever me and my sensei needed money we would just jump into the nearest lake, river or ocean and pull whatever we could up. Found several items, knives, tools, jewelry, quite a lot of earrings and even more fishing rods. We even made a website to sell everything we found, I wonder if I still have access to the website?"

"Give me 20 percent of the profit and I'll set up a website for you and have a small team handle the shipping and paperwork." offered Hideki.

"Is that why you had this place so close to the ocean?"

Hideki shrugged, "What can I say, I'm a businessman."

Fei held out his hand, "Deal." as they shook before Fei felt something stab him in his sides, he knew what it was, he even saw it coming and had to resist his instincts to immediately attack Kokomi. "Yes?"

Kokomi had the chance and put one of her needles in Fei's side, "You're quirkless, I can't feel any quirk in your body whatsoever, but you're so powerful, your body is built like no other I've seen...how?"

Fei took a finger and poked Kokomi's head pushing her away, "Alright for starters one if you're going to be working with us, none of this internet model stuff, at least not when you're on the clock, that means no pictures of either me or my pupil. Two, please wear something more appropriate, we aren't your school mates, we are your clients and you are our healer."

Kokomi thought it over, "That would cut into quite a bit of my time but..." she looked at Fei and then at Izuku, "You two are interesting," she then hummed for a moment, "Alright I'm in, but if you guys get boring or miss a payment I'm upping the charge."

"I'm just fine with that." said Fei as he went for another slice, "Izuku, we have a healer and a place to train, are you ready to truly get started?"

Izuku smiled, "Yes sir." Izuku for the first time he could remember was truly excited, 'This is it, this is my origin story, the beginning of my journey to be a hero. With Sensei Fei at my side and with everyone's help, I'll make my dream a reality.'

Fei smiled as he ate, 'That smile, yes Izuku I will mold you into the perfect warrior, yes, the hero world, the underworld and the business world, I will control all of them thanks to you.'

Hideki kept his face neutral as he looked at Izuku, 'I pity you boy, you will achieve your dreams but will it be worth it? If you ever found out what Fei truly had planned for you or the strings he pulled to sway you, you would break. I guess in a way me and you are a lot alike, but unlike you I knew when I was making a deal with the devil. You on the other hand aren't even aware that your fate has already been sealed.'
